MAYBEN
I definitely need paint correction, possibly even a painted front end, its pretty road beat, not to mention someone bumped into it a few months after I got it.. I got my new Adam's Hydro Foam Gun from Grabiak today, and my Ultimate Kit last week.. items used: Adam's Pro Detailers Cart Adam's Foam Gun Adam's Car Wash Shampoo Adam's Brass Quick Disconnect Kit Adam's Ultimate Fire Hose Car Wash Nozzle Adam's Hose Shut-Off Valve Adam's JUMBO Professional Car Wash Pad Adam's Professional Car Wash Pad Adam's Double Car Wash Grit Guard Buckets Adam's Great White Microfiber Drying Towel Adam's Waterless Car Wash Adam's Trim & Lug Nut Brush Adam's 20" Fender & Tire Brush Adam's Green Clean Power Stick Wheel Cleaning Tool Adam's VRT Super Block Dressing Applicator Adam's Hex-Grip Pro Tire Dressing Applicator Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner Adam's Super VRT Tire & Trim Dressing Adam's In & Out Spray Dressing Adam's Detail Spray 2 Adam's Double Soft Microfiber Towels Adam's Microfiber Glass Cleaning Towels Adam's Edgeless Microfiber Utility Towels Adam's Glass Cleaner ^I think thats everything I think I did a $hitty job, but it was VERY warm out today, not used to it lol I must say, I love smell of the products, but I think the Glass Cleaner may be the best! We've been Lighting It Up Blue all month..
Chewy
Looks great, but you DO need a correction don't you? Hardest places I found to correct on the G8 are anything that's plastic. All the rest is a breeze. Use your 4" pads on the "A" pillars and all the way back to the "C" pillars and a lot of the rear bumper and trunk, spoiler, and rocker panels and then anywhere else the larger pads don't fit. MAYBEN
thanks for that advice.. after I figure out if the drcolorchip or langka will help, or if I do need to fix it, then I'll correct the rest of the car.. hopefully I can do that soon.. there is a crease in the bumper from where it was bumped, so might need to have the bodywork done.. anyone do great bodywork near me? lol

Carolinaboy
Car, looks great Nick! I love the G8s I gotta ask, is that foam gun any better than the Gilmore one? Any benefits to be $25 more?
BlueGenCoupe
Car looks great, but you need to fix the swirls. I got a few on my car, but im waiting untill we get a solid week of nice weather.
Doug123
I think the deal with the foam gun is to get a nice bunch of foam onto the paint so it can loosen up the gunk before the wash pad touches the finish - I use a Gilmour and am very happy with how well it works. But, this one was made in 'that place waaay over there'.

I haven't used the Gilmour, but I was told the Hydro foams better overall.. As far as the swirls.. I want to do a paint correction, but unfortunately, I believe the front end needs to be fixed first.. there are a lot of chips, and the damage from when someone bumped into it.. there is also some damage from an old timer's license plate on the back bumper.. I responded to a call, and one of the retired guys gouged the bumper.. I guess I can just do it anyways and fix the front and rear damage afterwards? and just be careful in the larger chip areas?
