jmelchio
Hi, Has anybody used Super VRT on Weathertech floor mats? Does it make them slippery? I want to try it, but I don't want to be slipping off of the pedals afterwards. Thanks, Joe.
Chewy
I put NOTHING on mine. They were too slippery when new IMO. I clean them with APC and re-install.
02Xtreme07ss
I used it on mine. Yes, it does make them somewhat slippery. Immediately following the application of the SVRT they will be extremely slick. After a few days it is manageable. You can probably get away with using I&O on them instead and not suffer the same about of slip.
Grubrunner
Why would you want to put SVRT on them?
Bill-V8V
Just clean with APC and rinse, they look new again. It could be extremely dangerous to apply anything to them.
02Xtreme07ss
Here's a link to the detail that Mario and Dylan did a while back where Dylan recommended using I&O instead of VRT. http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8350&highlight=weathertech
MAYBEN
good to know, although mine are coming out soon so the carpet can go back in
jmelchio
Great, thanks for the info and the link. I think I'll skip it. Super VRT did a great job on getting my exterior plastics looking like new, so I considered doing it for my floor mats. I hadn't considered I&O. Thanks again, Joe. Chris@Adams
I agree it would make them slick and you don't want your shoes slick! Just clean with APC!
BrianT
Mine were very slick, they looked sweet but were slick!!
THE Mook
I'd be concerned with res of the SVRT tracking anywhere else I walked. In n Out if you need to man!
BlueGenCoupe
Avoid using SVRT, they can get really slippery
