Buying a new jetski..Adam's Products?

so after having an itch of over a year ive pulled the trigger and am taking delivery of a New Seadoo GTI130 on Wednesday. The deals they are running right now and the deal i got from the dealer was basically highway robbery without a gun:banana:

 

I told the dealer not to touch it, just to fix a messed up decal and he tried talking me out of it. I have to admit im pretty clueless to this whole world of boating care. I know its gelcoat and not paint. The guys at work use 3M marine stuff and i could get it through them at a discount but rather not as it looks to "professional".

 

Can i use adam's products on my ski? IE wax, sealers etc or do i need to get marine grade wax? I plan on haveing the cleanest ski on the water and an adams logo proudly displayed if i can use the products:D

I have been reading some old threads myself, have a potential customer who is interested in cleaning up his boat as well as auto's. From what I have seen, yes you can use the products on your new ski.

I would think that MSW would hold up as well as any of the 3M products. If you can keep it maintained the gel coat won't get chalky and require the 'pro' products.

Adams products will work on gelcoats... However, they are EXTREMELY hard and if you do need to polish it, 3M products might be a little more effective

They will work, however I think your best bet is to use Adams polishes and a Marine Wax or something marine as your last step product. Just my 2 cents

Im going to order the meg's first boat owners kit:help: everything i read its some of the best beginner stuff. Reading into the 3M products it looks to profesional for a novice like me. Hey, you guys every think about makeing boat products:thumbsup: i dont like the M word:willy:

I just did our wave runner (jet ski you stand on) and boat and used ALL Adams products. SVRT, FMP, MSW, GC, GS, DS and some WCW. I used my Flex and my PC as well. Stay away from products containing silicon for sure. Adams FTW!!

Heres my new jetski, was supposed to take delivery on wednesday but they lost power due to the heat and had to move delivery to saturday (yesterday). its pretty dirty and they need to fix a spot on the bow where the orange sticker didnt lay down right.

 

Im going to try adams before i order the m word. Also, im going to be building a shed/mancave to house her and my beer pong table so look for the construction pics soon:D rightnow my mini is displaced outside until i finish the shed:willy:

 

shes just shy of 13ft long and is alot bigger then the pic looks. It gets licensed this week so next weekend will be her maiden voyage
