plastic film to protect carpet?

I'm looking for plastic stick on film or paper disposable floor mats for my car.

 

I am going to be brave and try showing my car this summer. I want to be able to get the carpets looking perfect then protect them with this plastic or paper mats while I drive to the show. (You know how quickly the carpets get stuff on them).

 

I keep a lint roller in the glove box, but the mats would help keep them really clean.

 

My shop has big rolls of the sticky plastic stuff they use when my car is in for work.

 

Can any of you recommend any you've used?

Terri, a no cost option would be to just flip them over on the drive to the show. You just have to make sure the floor carpet is clean.

What I really like about the semi-sticky plastic stuff is that it can't shift and when you pull it up, you can use the tacky side to pick up any stray bits. Very convenient.

 

I think I'll stop at Home Depot and pick up a roll there. There is a Home Depot near me.

I got a 50 ft. roll (x 2 ft. wide) of the stuff from Home Depot today for $12. I'll give that a try. Thanks for the suggestions!
