How do you get that awesome, thick foam?

I have the adams foam gun and when I foam a car, it looks like this:

 

 

When I see other people foaming a car it looks like this:

 

 

 

How do they do that? I never use the highest setting because it uses all my soap in like 5 seconds, so that cant be it. Maybe I'm diluting it too much? 2 oz of car shampoo + 6 ounces of water?

The second picture you posted looks like it was done with a foam cannon not a foam gun. They do produce a thicker foam

I have the hydrofoamer. I have it on the highest foam setting and I dont get foam like that. The second picture looks to me as if someone used a foam cannon with a pressure washer. If I were I would use the highest setting possible. If I can get my whole Camaro covered in a 1qt hydrofoamer on the highest setting then you should be able to as well.

yes that would be a foam cannon and you can get even thinker soap than that:thumbsup:

Cause THEY are using a foam cannon. You could always try more soap.

Yup maybe try and up the amount of soap and even the ratio mix.

 

Also, you could have really hard water. Hard water hates to make with the bubbles.

Yea like mentioned above, its foam cannon. If you want some more suds on the foam gun, try putting more soap in the mix.

its a shame the delivery is so costly to the states because i have a contact here that would do the foam cannon for $65 each.

i just checked a foam cannon is 500grams and it is $65 for 2kg package so 4 lances would cost just over $80 each
