Americana wax

Observation: So after my MSS cure time I added BG and Americana and observed this 3 times now and that is the surface tension on the paint greatly increased with the Americana wax. Yes it feels very smooth and all but not say slick like the MSS, which does somewhat. I'm thinking because one is a polmer and other a carnuba base and here in lies the answer?

did you clay bar before applying the MSS?

 

let the APW cure a couple days and go over the car with DS. see how that feels afterward

This was just an observation not a complaint and I was wonder if others ever noticed this as well, just me getting to thinking....

 

Clay, of course and all steps and channles followed to the letter.

 

Never heard a tale of letting APW dry that long, if it is like other waxes you would need alot of detail spray which I would avoid as it and APW can have issues getting along at times.

Yes I have noticed some increased surface tension. A DS wipe off a few hours later seems to do it for me.
