Hello everyone,

Im from greenville, NC. I have a 2003 Mach 1 in Azure Blue. I have always washed and maintained all my own vehicles, and finally makin the step forward to machine polishing. Before about 6 months ago I was using all OTC wash, compound, and wax, and all by hand. I always viewed machine polishing as something only for the pros.

Well after a friend told me he did his own, and let me watch him do it, I was hooked. Started going online and reading everything I could. Now im ready to try it out.

I just ordered (from adam's) a PC7424xp, Adams pads and polishes, clay and APC with MFs. The beginner kit pretty much. Cant wait to get it and give it a go.

I have a '02 escape that only gets washed that i will do first, before applying it to my baby, the Mach.

Went with adams because of the online support, the videos (which are awesome btw), and the guarantee.

Little info on my car, 2003 AB Mach 1, 18k miles (yes 18), the short list of mods:

Kenne Bell SC with 9lbs of boost

Full tubular suspension front and back

4:10 gears

Aluminum flywheel, twin disk clutch, Alum. driveshaft.

Coilovers

18x9/10 Saleen wheels with 265 streets up front and 305 DR's out back.

Here is a pic of my best wash and wax to date. You can see why I need to get into proper polishing:

Thanks, and looking forward to learning and enjoying the hobby!!
