DaveVY
43 GALLONS of water per car in an auto car wash? That's insane. Ok, I will bite, do you think 43 gallons is high or low? When doing a wash in the driveway I think I use more than that from the initial rinse/blast to remove debris from the paint, wheels and wheel wells, to having two buckets, then rinsing the car and then washing out the pads and cleaning the towels... expect that I use quite a bit more than that. Maybe I use too much water in my initial rinse/blast, but if you look at my rinse bucket it stays pretty darn clean, not much chance for any swirls to be created. Dreamworkz
The show wasn't that bad. I found it interesting.
XQIZT
Ok, I will bite, do you think 43 gallons is high or low? Just seems hi to me. But then again, I've never metered it.
Z71_Denali
if you figure both buckets hold about 10 gallons combined, and your water hose flows at about 4 gpm, then 43 gallons sounds about right. if you use a pressure washer on the initial and final rinse, you will use slightly less since they flow at about 1.5-3 gpm.
