Fender Covers?

To work in my engine compartment I literally have to lay on the fenders and nose... I'm curious what you guys/girls use to protect the "corrected" paint surfaces while doing work.

 

The standard fender covers I've seen don't give me that warm and cozy feeling.

 

Any suggestions?

If the car is clean, I use one of my older Great White Drying towels.

I don't do much engine work but when doing any mechanical work I will first wash the car and then use clean dry great white towels to cover the car panel I will be bumping into or possibly leaning against.

I think we agreed on a 30-40 sized towel. It's a matter of getting time to actually develop something like this, as our focus is on keeping things shiny and protected and clean...we do see the want, and are working.

I have two of the rubber ones from Ssnake Oyl. They work just fine.
