Matte paint

I have no doubt this topic has been beaten to death, but I haven't seen anything on it and so I must ask...what is the best way to care for matte paint? I have seen a couple matte sealants out there that are ridiculously expensive, and some other care products from other companies. What is the best, and can I use my Adam's Detail Spray on matte paint?

DS may leave a sheen on the matte (I personally like the look), making a more satin looking. Waterless wash is probably your best bet.

As long as that sheen was even, I can't imagine it being too bad. The problem would be if it wasn't applied evenly. What about a protectant?

You talking about matte paint? or matte decals, stripes etc?

 

I hear of people using glass cleaner to clean theyre flat/matte painted cars.

Talking about matte paint. I just bought an SLP hood for my camaro that is painted matte black. Trying to figure out how I'm going to keep it clean and protected.
