moecaballero
How are y'all with Ford trucks cleaning and detailing the front fender wells? Its not your typical black plastic, it seems more of a fabric type coating on the plastic. Thanks for the help in advance!
0 dhn7080
All purpose cleaner my friend, the new Corvette has similar material and Adam himself recommended treating it the same way that you would any other wheel well material
0 Kingsford
Yep They've been doing this for sometime on F250's and 350's. APC and a Fender Brush. Just be sure to rinse it very well. Could always try to rip it out if you are daring.
0 JBlack151
For the debris in the fabric I like to first take the fender brush to it dry to loosen it up or remove it. Then hose it off followed by APC and the brush again. For some reason I find the debris like to grasp the fabric when wet. So that dry technique first helps. Just IMO though THE Mook
0 SYMAWD
I find the tire brush works better than the fender brush for the felt lined fender liners. Either way, they suck to clean. Kingsford
0 Baron_Von_Awesome
Before you get it wet, peel a sheet off of a lint roller and blot the liner with it - gets a lot of the loose debris and makes cleaning easier.
0 moecaballero
Thanks everyone! I'll give it a shot this weekend. It's a new truck so I'd like to keep it looking new. But why fabric as a liner? It puzzles me...LOL

0 Chuckster
TIP!!! Don't forget to finish up with Adams Invisible Under Carriage spray when you are done cleaning with APC........ Buy a gallon of the IUC spray because goes quick once you get addicted to using it.

This Ford i had to get for work with the allowance they give....well honestly the GMC's were about 10K more and the allowance wouldn't cover it all.
