johnny13
Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a Bissell/Hoover (any brand thay works best) steam cleaner but there are many different types (proheat) and was wondering what would be the best for me as a weekend detailer and maybe doing a few on the side? 0 davidg
Bought mine 2 years ago. Spray pump quit this week. Have to check on parts. Was looking these up on the YouTube and many comments say something inside needs to be oiled periodically.

0 Chuckster
Grab a 20% off coupon from Bed Bugs and Beyond to save a few bucks...... This coupon is easy to find. Costco and Wally World sell them too! These LGMs are "consumer grade throw away machines" and for the money they work great...... Pre treat stains and take your time, you will be amazed on how dirty the sucked up solution gets. Mongosg8
0 davidg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iV1UJbCBTPc When I was looking videos up on my tablet I saw a comment that he made a video of how to fix the pump. I won't say it's a spectacular one after watching most of it, but above is the link to it if you are brave enough to disassemble your machine. 0 Baron_Von_Awesome
Will do and what about what davidg said are there or what parts need to oiled I imagine just the pump? Not sure about the pump - as Chuckster said, they're throwaway machines. I'd simply buy a new one before I cracked it open to fix it.

One is the older model but its been working fine for 6 years. They work pretty decent Edited October 12, 2013 by Mongosg8
