Can this brush be fixed?

Went over the supplies since spring is around the corner, I found I somehow put away my boars hair wheel brush in it's container with the brush side down (wah wah). This is the result after months of laying like that. Can this be fixed or is the brush ruined?

After using it in the future try to hang it up to dry.

Well I usually lay it out until it dries mostly then put it back in the container. I've poked a bunch of holes in the lid so that there is air circulation if things aren't totally dry. I don't know how I put it back in brush side down.

After washing it out I will shake it very forcefully straight down with the hair pointing towards the ground.  This gets most of the water out and shapes the brush for the next time.

Wash your back in the shower with it... It'll come back.

Scott, it will be just fine once it gets wet, it's definitely not ruined!!

 

Not sure of you location, but is car washing season is still a bit off in your neck of the woods, Jason's recommendation of using it as a back scrubber is a solid one.
