What Product to Use

TR6speed

Question

I have not been on in a while as my car does not get a lot of abuse so it only need a good detailing a couple of time a year.

So my question is, I placed an order a mon th or so ago and in it was the Paint Correction Polish and the Paint Finishing Polish.  Because the car is not in need of major correction  dwould you suggest that I simply go with teh Paint Finishing Polish or do the correction step first.

I have some ligh swirls and fine scratches that are only noticable in sunlight at a certain angle.  I don't want to be to aggressive on the paint although the clear coat is very hard on the Corvette.

You should always use the least aggressive correction method that achieves the results you want.  Based on your description, I'd say the answer to your question is yes.

The way to be sure is to try the single-stage (Finishing Polish) correction on one area/panel.  If you're happy with the result, you're done.  If not, it's two-stage time...
