CMDChase Posted May 25, 2014 Share Posted May 25, 2014 Just got back from a vacation in the Smoky Mountains. Took the Blue Ridge Parkway home from Cherokee NC. The views were majestic. It's hard to comprehend these mountains have been here for millions of years. It's very humbling. If you get a chance to take this ride don't miss it. Over the past couple days I just spent some time rock climbing and back country camping in Red River Gorge which has very similar terrain.
