In and Out Spray on Plastidip Rims, brakes?

Cfeingold

Question

I plastidipped my rims awhile back. I maintain that perfect black look with either In & out spray or VRT, my question is - Do I need to cover up my brakes etc with a plastic bag when I'm spraying the In & out spray on the rims? I cover them up when I use Brake Dust cleaners (BDP being one of them).

Thanks!

No need to cover, unless you plan to go immediately from cleaning to a high speed track event or autocross race. :)

The very first time you roll with your brakes applied - like backing out of the garage - the brake pads will have scrubbed the surface of anything anyways, so its really a non-issue.
