wet sanding and got bit!

Fit08

Question

Ya that's right 2012 scion IQ which my wife decided to drag along the BBQ 3 feet worth!

4" pads and drill, micro fiber flex then white pad and flex 95% gone then I just had to go after this little "chip" to knock it down and with I say no more then six small strokes the deed was done.

While only a small dime size it still is a bad day. Played with the devil and I lost this one.

Go through the clear I'm assuming? Risky for sure if you're not used to it but think of it this way; if you didn't detail as a hobby you would have gotten it repainted anyway after the BBQ incident.

Ouch. Never fun... but less on learned, right?

Yes two lessons actual both of which I knew of and stated to my wife but forged on.

1) never polish angry.

2) wet sanding ( I should not be doing this).

And possibly a third, DD 95% is good enough!!
