There's another big festival going on the last weekend of September, so the owner of Fort Whalley and the organizer moved it to October. Looks like a fun show! I head out there for H2oI at the end of September every year. The city didn't like that H2o was the same weekend as Sunfest. Hopefully this year there will be less issues with the idiots ruining things for the rest of us. We are finding the place we have rented from for almost 10 years isn't renting to anyone for H2o weekend. So we are on the hunt for a place with a decent sized condo/house with a garage. VERY few cops doing anything, everyone's doing burn outs, guy drove past in a vert with the top down and a blow up doll in the back (nude), good give aways!!, more vendors than most years, and a collectibles auction tomorrow that I might try and make. Fantastic weather. Will post up pics when I get home. And did I mention someone put soap into the fountain? White suds everywhere!! Rich Posted May 18, 2015 Author Share Posted May 18, 2015 It was crazy down there this year. Over 3000 registered cars, few police, and a whole lot of burnouts on every street. More vendors than before and plenty of giveaways. This is just a small sample of some of the great rides everyone had. Funniest thing was someone put soap into the fountain at the Wine Rack. Rich Posted May 18, 2015 Author Share Posted May 18, 2015 One thing I will say is that there were several competitors there (G's, Meg's, Eagle 1) and I had a chance to compare their micros, pads, wheel woolies, etc to what Adam's sells. There was NO comparison. All three had cheap micros with stitched edges that were sharp and felt like fishing line. Pads were flimsy. And E1 sold the curved wheel woolie and I think the thing would fall apart after 1 use. One outfit sold JUST THE BUCKET for $50 with no grit guard and it was a really crap bucket, thin plastic that you could see light through. I guess I'm really spoiled now with Adam's. One was a Black Supercharged Charger and another was a bright ford racing red Fox Body Supercharged Mustang. I miss going down. But it is detailing season so just don't have time. It's usually nice for Vettes, but seems to always rain for Endless Summer. But we enjoy OC in October. Not overly hot and not crowded. And the picture of the General Lee.................IT'S STAYING.
