Foam gun

Hello all!

 

I bought the foam gun and am just wondering if it's working correctly or maybe I'm not! Is it always suppose to have a steady stream of foam coming out?

 

Reason I ask is I will begin to spray and it will spray foam then turn to just water. I will have to release the trigger and squeeze again 1-2x to get more foam.

 

Normal? Not normal? Thoughts.

Using the off pink tip. It's larger than the recommended

Did you check the intake (siphon) tube to make sure it is clean?

Mine acted that way a few times. I think the container was sideways a bit when it was doing that. Ever since then, I have paid attention to make sure it is lined up and haven't had the watery foam.

Yeah I blew through it when I switched tips.

 

As far as the container being tilted, it'll work tilted or non tilted when I press and release and press the trigger again. I will have to check how it sits when I use it next.

Does the Gilmor (ah hem) liquid container fit the Adam's Foam Gun?  With the new larger container from Adam's, being able to swap the small vs large containers based on vehicle size would be pretty sweet.

Mike if you have the other brand foam gun it is already 32 oz I believe. But in respect of forum rules I am going to endorse Adams gun as its bar none the best construction on the market. I have an off brand as well, and even I am considering getting the Adams gun and just tossing the other one out, lot of plastic.

Thanks Jason.  I was planning to upgrade to Adam's Foam Gun and didn't realize it previously came with a smaller bottle.
