Results of Adam's Cant Touch This Winter Kit

Just a quick review of my results.

 

Cadillac ATS 2014 Raven Black 13k miles.

 

It took about 4 hours to go through exactly the steps shown in the winter prep video.  I used the microfiber towels provided as well as a few good quality ones from other sources.

 

I'm very happy with the results.  The car feels baby soft and I can barely see some of the swirl marks accumulated early on before I realized the evil of automatic car washes.  This car shows every speck of dust or water spot, and there ain't none to be seen.

 

The clay bar was incredibly easy, 15 minutes and not half a day like everybody at work told me it would take.

 

The paint sealant took some elbow grease to get off.  I left it on for maybe 20 minutes.

 

We'll see how it fares over the coming winter before the final judgement.

Wow look at that shine! great job on her. 

 

As for the paint sealant it might have been on a bit too long, tip for next time if you leave it, hit your towel or the panel with a little detail spray. Will make it come off much easier if it has really started to dry on. 

 

Should be really easy to keep her up for the winter with some waterless wash and or rinseless wash. 

 

Also I would certainly recomend the H20GG after a couple weeks to allow that sealant to fully cure. Then nothing will stay stuck to her.

With your mention of light swirls and scratches, a correction in the spring will get rid of them, and then the black will truly look deep and shiny!

If you leave the paint sealant on the paint longer to cure it comes off even easier.  Its the opposite of traditional waxes which get harder the longer they are left - SOLID shine from the LPS!
