1970 Chevy C-10 Show Detailing

My truck has unfortunately become a trailer queen since we finished the build. Cab corners and rocker panel replacement took on a whole new life for the C-10. It now has a full round tube chassis, C4 Corvette suspension front and rear, LS2 and T-56 6 speed, and endless amounts of custom metal fabrication and body work. All being done by a good friend and myself.

After being showed the past year and been neglected to Detail Spray and Brilliant Glaze (Which is not a bad thing) needed to be gone over.

I hit the truck with Clay Bar, Paint Correction, Paint Finishing, Brilliant Glaze, and topped off with a coat of Americana Paste wax. It didn't look bad before but wow did this help!I also hit the billet wheels with metal polish #2

I even hit the bed floor with the Clay Bar, it was unreal what the bar pulled off from it.

Before using Metal Polish 2 and a microfiber applicator by hand.

After about only 10 minutes, including the barrel of the wheel. Also after a buff I gave each wheel a shot of Detail Spray and a clean microfiber for a final buff and wow!

Truck looks awesome, Adams metal polish is really underrated in my opinion. Where are you located? Only reason I ask is you said you did the show in Columbus.

Thank you! the Metal Polish is incredible, it's actually the product that got me hooked! I'm just east of Columbus about 1 hour.

G-R-E-A-T Pictures! Thats what i call attention to detail

Thank you!

Nice work.

Looks like it handles great with that setup.

Thank you! It does handle, before we painted it, while it was bare steel we put 1500 miles on it.

I'm a huge fan of C10s and that thing is nasty!  Good work on the build and clean up.

Thank you!

She looks real good, nice job!!

Thank you Chris!

Here is what started it all. These are the bed side exhaust tips, the type of aluminum they are would not polish to a mirror shine. They were sanded with 2000g wet sand paper and still wouldn't, after about 7 various brands of "metal polish" I broke down and ordered Metal Polish 1&2. Needless to say after about 60 seconds of work this was the result.
