Advice/opinions on tinting factory tinted windows

Getting my 2014 dodge ram windows done this weekend. Thinking I will do 20% on the fronts and want to get the backs done a bit darker but can't decide how dark I want to go. What would u guys recommend on the back? Tint shop said if I put 20 over the factory it would be about 5% which I think may be too dark. Don't want to not be able to see out the back windows at all at night. Should I do 35 or 50 over the stock 20% tint? Thinking maybe a 10% overall outcome tint might be a good choice

Definitely want the backs darker to block the sun when the kid is in the back, but just can't decide if 5% would be too dark at night. Guess I really don't look through those windows anyway, rely on backup cam and Sideview mirrors while backing up at night

I think you should be fine with the rear at 5%, added bonus every loser who leaves their brights on is dimmed automatically lol. I did 20 over all my rams windows and enjoy it

So u did 20 over the factory rear tint on your ram? It's not too dark at night?

I did 10 up front and 10 over the rear factory tint and it's basically limo tint. But I like it.

I like it dark my wife's car is 15 and no issues. I hate bright lights at night when im driving so I block out what I can. If there's no street lights and it's super dark out i will crack the window to back up but it's the rare occasion

5 is fine out back if you have a backup camera. I just went from a 5 back to a 15 back (different car) and I couldn't tell until I saw the invoice in the glove box. Barely any difference quite frankly
