You should dilute it first, and then test it out. I use it on lots of things, even around the house. I wouldnt use pure APC on something I am not sure about, I would dilute it like crazy. I keep in bottles a few different dilutions. I use 1:4 on most things. Great for tires doing it this way too. If tires are really dirty, I start with 1:1, then 1:4, then 1:10, and finish with just water and soap (or Green Wheel Cleaner, but I am running low on that).

I would use Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner since it is designed for use on cloth seats.  It is dye-free, scent-free, and non-foaming, which makes it ideal for cloth.

 

APC has dye in it, and it does foam, so it is not the best for upholstery.

 

For washing microfiber towels, use Microfiber Revitalizer & Brightener as it is designed to break down residue on the towels that APC might not, and is also dye-free.
