R/T-Shadow
Hey guys, So I have done some research and I have heard and seen that dry ice blasting works for cleaning the undercarriage of vehicles. Has anyone ever tried this or had it done?
0 Rich
Never heard of such a thing. The only thing I know about dry ice is that if it touches your skin you won't have that skin for long. Not sure how you would "blast" it. Sounds like another gimmick to me, but I sure don't know everything.
0 SaleenJOE
Dry ice blaster is used for all kinds of cleaning and stripping operations. It could be used to clean the under side of a car but you can get the same results using a steamer. I mainly have seen dry ice blasting used in the aerospace industry for stripping mold tools. 0 Firebuff17
I saw a home improvement type show and pretty sure they used dry ice blaster to clean mold off of the underside of roof decking (in an attic)
0 Humanoid Typhoon
I have only heard of dry ice blasting for cars from this video week or so ago. You should check it out. it's a fun cool video (I had to remove your video for obvious reasons, but added a video below to better show what a dry ice machine can do. 0 Rich
Looks like sandblasting with dry ice. You better know what the heck you're doing before trying it.
