tx_sig
I had a canopy fly and scrape up against my truck on a really windy day and this happened. The marks don't appear to be deep, but are enough to make my OCD go crazy. Is there a simple way on how can I remove these marks from the clearcoat? Thanks. 0 MikeSoFlo
Depending on how deep you can try a 3 step correction but most likely may need some wet sanding. It's hard to tell from the pic how deep it is.
0 mc2hill
Try a clay bar first, but they may need machine polishing to completely remove them. RayS
0 falcaineer
First, welcome! Sorry this is your first post on here (may I suggest a full intro on the new member forum). Hopefully there are better days ahead. As a simple test, if your fingernail catches, the scratch is probably too deep for a polish, and as @MikeSoFlo mentioned, wetsanding/repaint may be the only complete fix. But if it doesn't, or mostly doesn't, a machine polish could very well get most if not all of the scratch out. What do you have at your disposal for tools, polish, etc?
