Ceramic spray & h2o GG

Kaiten

Question

Hey guys(and ladies) I just used the ceramic spray on my car a couple weeks ago and love the outcome. After sitting in 3 days of rain and 2 weeks of being outside, the car shows almost no water spots and minimal dirt at all. I've decided that ceramic is the way to go for me. I should also note that I applied CPW. But my question is...I have an ungodly amount of h20 GG. Since the GG is sio2 can I use the GG on a ceramic coated car without it ruining the hydrophobic properties, or causing the ceramics wear off faster? Thanks! 👍🇺🇸💪

Hi Richard, sorry no one got to your questions yet, I'm just seeing this now!

When you say you have a lot of H2O Guard, is it the old version or the new hybrid version that we began selling a few months back? The old version is not SiO2-based, but the new version is infused with a small amount of SiO2. The old version will not hurt or lessen the lifespan of the coating, but there is potential for the hydrophobic properties to be slightly less than if you were to maintain it with Ceramic Boost instead.

I hope that helps out. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Thanks Dan. It is the old formula of GG. I'm not too concerned with the hydrophobic properties being that I live in Palm springs, we don't get too much rain. I'm more concerned about the lifespan of the coating. As long as it won't lessen the lifespan then at least I know I can use it. I do plan in using CB to upkeep. But I figure might as well use the rest of my GG since I have it. Thank you for the answer
