Loud Pedal Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 It's an awesome motorsport, nothing like blasting thru everything known to man in a hot rod
Team Adam's Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 (edited) WRC is a close second to American Le Mans for me, but both are far more exciting than anything Nascar has to offer IMO. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGsG_Y9UgNQ&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGsG_Y9UgNQ&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Edited April 14, 2009 by Dylan06SS
bobfred44 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I started to watch NASCAR in 2002 and fell in love with the sport. I now watch every NASCAR event on TV, and this coming from an old stick and ball sport lover. NASCAR is unbelievable in person.
Loud Pedal Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I won't miss a NASCAR race, I Love it. High horsepower small blocks turning up to 10,000 RPM with no driver aids. What a great thing! A 3400 pound car pouring into to turns at 210 MPH while leaving a donut on the door of the guy next to you! Does it get any better than that? I know people say they just turn left, but if everyone knew what it took to make that car turn left while on the absolute ragged edge they would appreciate it.
bobfred44 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I agree. Those drivers have some big ones (guts). I went for a ride in a NASCAR car going 175 MPH with no other cars on the track. What a trip! Can't imagine driving like that and faster with only being inches away from the other cars. Sorry to others who don't agree with me, but those drivers ARE athletes.
