0 Shimy86
I think it lasts about 3 washes, its hard to say, I use detail spray when drying and that gives a good shine also.
0 GerryC
Washing isn't the only thing that will break down the BSG, so the number of washes will vary. Just sitting out in the sun or rain will break it down as well. BSG offers no protection - it's only a show glaze than enhances the gloss of the paint, which is why many people use it at or right before a show or cruise night, so the paint looks its best with minimal effort. 0 Team Adam's
A light breeze is pretty much all it takes to kill your BSG coat But seriously, the first wash and its gone... that is if it survived being out in the sun and being wiped down repeatedly with DS. BSG is not a durable product, nor is it intended to be. I am however playing around with it as a bottom layer on naked paint to hide minor imperfections, then topping with Americana... not sure yet what the BSG base will do to the durability of the APW, but I'll report back any findings. It's a wham bam thank you ma'am product... Edited June 23, 2009 by Chewy
0 livingwater
It's so easy to use. Question: Would it actually hurt the finish if the Brilliant spray glaze was used weekly?
