Layering Americana?

Okay, I love this stuff but.....................put a second coat on the black Trailblazer and its kinda hazy. I waited over night to apply the second coat. Is there any tricks or tips to not get this? The MSW had a terrific shine and on the STS a single coat of Americana was killer so I went for the 2 coat on the TB....not so great:help:

Weird... Not had this issue on my black G8 with as many as 5 coats...

I did read this and its interesting but I have way too much going on to put a week into waxing a car.

I did apply many coats over a few days, just put it on and take it off. the truck had smudges after a while, the car did not. Go figure. i do plan on usings Franks method one of these days.

I do notice a slight haze on my new truck, i thought maybe it was the paint. I might have goofed it up though i only waited about 2 hours before applying the Americana after the MSW. I am planning on claying it again and doing the cold water misting technique in a couple of weeks when my wife goes to Florida so i can drive her car and leave mine in the garage while i do it.

 

I am going to try and do a write up on it with pictures, the write up is good but i want to add some pictures for everyone to see..... i know pictures help me.

It was my fault I was trying to see what happened when you put too many coats on too close together. I still need to try the cold water thing, haven't done that yet.
