How to get off sap, bugs, tar off paint.

That's pretty much it.... I need some better tips... the last client I had, had some serious tree sap on his hood. I clayed/clayed/rotary/SHR/Polish/Wax never went away.

 

So, what are some safe good products or tips to get rid of them....

 

Also by fender wells, either it looked like concrete was oxidized in or something off from the road.

Damages Paint. I'm talkin more serious tree sap, sap that's been on for years.

WD40 works great. Another thing is to try 3M Adhesive remover. But remember to wax the area you remove the sap from when you're done.

WD-40 works great on a lot of contaminates. Definitely on tar.

 

Tree sap may take a bit more work, but I'd give it a try. Yes, be sure and wax the area when done...

For the WD-40 would you spray it on the car itself on the area needed or onto a rag to wipe the area?

I spray it on the rag first, but I can't see how it would hurt to do it either way.

what about a car that went thru a construction zone... never cleaned off... I clayed...SHR/Polish/SMW/Glaze area and it's still there... even when I rub my nail gently over, I can't feel it, but the spots are there..?

Someone on here said that Meg's aggressive clay will take off concrete spots.

I use 3M products for tar and sap,as for the concrete,I'm not sure but I read somewhere WD-40 might work:o good luck:D
