I voted both... Cause either way works fine for me...

I tricked a good friend of mine with Detail Spray today. After I rinsed his Black Trailblazer SS off I sprayed some Detail Spray on it while it was wet then wiped it off. When he came to pick it up I told him to rub the front fender. He was like man you didn't have to wax it.I told him I didn't.That's when I introduced him to the world of Adam's Detail Spray. He was blown completely away when I showed him how great it even worked on his glass.

Funny you say that because a local oil change place I goto, the owner is a detail freak. Gave him some samples, and such. The owner of the corvette he used the DS on, thought he waxed it. Even he was blown away by at how well it did. Even people at our office thinks I wax my truck on a daliy basis cause at how shiney it is... It hasnt been waxed in over a year now. Needs it bad

Adam did have a Clear Spray about a year ago. It was designed for the vehicles with clear bras and vinyl wrap decals. It was a endorsed by Modern Image a vinyl wrap specialist company. I liked it on my white Corvette, but it was discontinued. I believe it was not a big seller and was dropped from the line. I have tried to get some and it is no longer available. What Adam has in his line is a Clear Polish (not a detail spray) for vehicles with clear bras and vinyl wraps. Maybe someday he will bring back the Clear Spray.

Are you talking about In & Out Spray? If so, that was discontinued because of California regulations red tape, not because of poor sales. That stuff sold like crack. Now that the business has relocated to Colorado, it will most likely make a comeback.

Not referring to the In & Out Spray. Adam did have a Clear (Detail) Spray. It was for the clear bras and vinyl wrap vehicles as a cleaner and conditioner. It worked great on light colored cars especially my white Corvette. I sold a couple of cases of the Clear Spray to local Corvette people. Look at #113 of this thread for a picture of it.

Although the decision to keep it pink was a year old, so was Adam's reply that there would be a DS with less/different dye that will not stain, so...did this ever come out?

The DS I have now will, and has, permanently stained my painted garage floor from over-splash during a refill. If a formulation can be made that totally eliminates staining whilst maintaining the pink hue, then I'm all for it. However, if the new formulation still stains in the slightest, then I vote for clear spray in a pink bottle to maintain Adam's brand image.

I find it quite odd how far people will go to prevent swirling and marring their paint but are perfectly amenable to an attribute of a product that adds no functional value yet has been proven to stain paint under certain conditions; so much so that polishing was necessary to remove it.

That is the first I have ever heard of that, I've been using it for years on every surface imaginable and have yet to have it stain anything. Where have you seen that it can stain paint to the point of needing to be polished out ???

I've never heard of it staining paint either? As for for some of my towels thats a different story but that with the older (year + old) formula.

Well Chris when someone comes on here and tells me something has been "proven" I'd like to see the proof :2thumbs:

Good point, lets all ask Chewy if he has any pics...

I did notice that the pink DOES stain my white truck... Kinda scared me a bit... I DO NOT want to be driving a partially pink truck...

I clayed it and left the residual on since I was going to use the PC on it. I wiped a small area anyway and to my horror the pink stayed! :help:

Thankfully the Revive and MP mix took it off.

If you just have a concrete floor than almost anything can stain it and it's your own fault for spilling. My garage floor is 85 different shades of screwed up coolant, oil, washer fluid, beer, soda it never ends.

It was 100% my fault for spilling, but never did I think something I put on my clear would permanently stain in such short time. I don't have a problem with a product having staining characteristics, what I don't approve of is having said characteristic for aesthetic reasons only.
