  1. You can use any sorta protection you'd like... The Ceramic coating will be the best combo with ppf...
  2. Yup during application it definitely doesn't feel slick. After a bit its ridiculously slick.
  3. It should slicken up after a bit. when I use to use reload it would do that at first. Then a couple hours later it was stupid slick. Just apart of the bonding/curing process. Silcia is a whole different beast vs what you're use to.
  4. I can promise you that the interior glass isn't as clean as you think. The interior gases and it causes a film like to show up on the interior. Dylan did video on perfect glass a while back. Try the methods I mentioned and you'll be surprised. Sometimes you have to start all over. Claying and or ipa wipe down will definitely help.
  5. When using products like Ceramic Booost and carpros reload. You must limit how much is used. If you used to much it'll be difficult to use/remove. When I've used reload in the past 1 or 2 sprays per panel is all you need. Until I get to try and use Ceramic boost I wont know if its fhe same or not. But in my experience with other products like it. Probably the same. Reload actually requires you to dilute it on darker color cars. Silica wont bond and cure as fast as a polymer/ acrylic resins will. When its cured its slicker and glossier than anything out there.
  6. Have you tried claying the inside of the glass with clay and the glass cleaner? Iso wipe down?
  7. I actually get people who drive in from dallas, alpine, houston, the valley, and mexico. Mainly cause they want the stuff that very moment.
  8. After the ppf is installed. Most cases the ppf will not stick to the coating.
  9. Dylan and Mook got me hooked. I got tired of paying the shipping on small stuff so I became a distributor a couple years later LOL.
  10. Actually a lot of the other brands you can install the coatings on top of the ppf. Several of the detailers in my city do it all the time. Only film that it wont work for is Nano Fusion ppf its already coated from the factory...
  11. To the OP. Have you tried looking to see if theres a dealer in your area? Most dealers like my self honor "MOST" of the sales. I do mine a lil different though. Check out the dealer locater, could save you on shipping cost alone... I mentioned this a couple weeks ago on a facebook post. Adam's is trying to be as fair as possible with the sales and dealers. Anything over 25% would hurt the dealers. 20% is pushing it and while the retail may not have to pay shipping from time to time we still have to and it can be 20-200 dollars.
  12. From a dealers prospective. The pumps worked best with vrt, soap, and leather conditioner. Love the 3rd gen caps. 2nd gen were terrible!
  13. I havent sold any for a while. Since deep wheel cleaner has come out ALL of my customers love it. Some use it on every wash and have had no issues. Along side with the price reduction is has helped a ton! Hey Dylan what ratio would be safe to do a dilution for deep wheel cleaner? 1:3? 1:5?
  14. All that matters to me is that they fit in the bucket!
  15. Quick sealant is fine for it, waterless wash, and rinseless wash is fine. Even the Adams Glass cleaner is fine for it. I have found that using the glass towel, and waterless wash towels are really good combos. If you havent had it installed yet. I would look into Suntek ppf. 20% cheaper, and looks 10000x better. The support you'll get from Suntek is above and beyond. Prestige film is another film that blows away xpel imo too...
  16. There is a adhesive remover that a local vinyl wrap place down here uses. Pretty damn good stuff, havent found anything close to it other than tarx. When I go to the shop tomorrow I will get the name.
  17. Here is some insight from a Distributor for Adam's Fedex has already started 15% to 20% increase on their rates as of lately too. That is even on a corporate discount rates. I use to get 9% off on items that are 0-15.9lbs pounds, 12% 16-32.9lbs, 20% 33 to 50.9lbs and 27% on items over 51lbs NOW its 6% for 5-15.9lbs, 11% 16-35.9 lbs, 15% 36-49.9lbs, 20% for 50lbs and over. Anything under 5lbs you pretty much pay full retail on shipping. I sent a friend of mine some cookies and it was going to Texas to Oklahoma, it cost me 18.xx! for something that weighed less than 2lbs! Another example I send a pound of jerky to the warehouse from time to time, it was costing me 7ish bucks to do so. Last couple of times it cost like 12.xx So while a 8.95 single soft towel maybe free to get shipped. Really that lil towel cost adams twice as much to ship. One of many options is looking at the dealer locator, and see if there is a Adam's dealer in your area. Or see if your local dealer has a promo code with free shipping.
  18. Green wheel cleaner has been the best to use on that stuff. One of my customers does plasti-dipping services and he tested a few different products including deep wheel cleaner. The one that did the best was Green Wheel cleaner. There is a spray out there that can be used on it to protect it while still giving the flat look. HydrO2
  19. C-Quartz Fabric and Leather coat works 10x better imo... Lasts up to a year or more, and you can use carpet cleaner on it and it wont break it down.
