APC Dilution

I was wondering what can APC be diluted down to? I think using it straight is a bit much for cleaning tires and fenderwells as I burn through a gallon very rapidly.

I use it 50/50 for tires and wheel wells. Works great.

Yes 50/50 is great.

yep, 50/50 for 'maintained' tires and spot cleaning rocker areas.  I keep a bottle of 1:4 (APC to water) for very light cleaning.

Cut it 1:1 and you get as much cleaning power and turn 2 gallons into 1.

 

Roshan did a test a while back and concluded 1:5 or 1:6 (I forget which) was about the most diluted you could get and actually do cleaning action, albeit it was very light.

 

Full strength or 1:1 is def needed for tire wells, tires, and for pad/applicator cleaning IMO. I go through APC at about a gallon and a half a season.
