xlr8rvette
I have used Adam's products for many years. Just sold C6 Vette with 152000 miles. Inspite of being black this Vette truly looked great. Replacing it with Sunset Orange C6. Does anyone on forum have experience with this color? It is a metallic paint. Hand polish only. Thank you
0 Team Adam's
My truck is actually painted with sunburst orange metallic (same color family from GM in 2012) Same process you used on your black car applies (paint is paint... Especially clear coat). You'll notice that it's much harder to spot the defects, which is a blessing and a curse.

0 Chris@Adams
I think that may be the color of Ben's Vette..........Like the doc said it will be way easier to take care of.
0 Team Adam's
adding to my original thoughts - choose your products/process based more on need than on the color of the car. if its a daily driver, or a car that you want to keep maintenance to a minimum go with sealant. if its a garage queen/weekend toy then consider a wax for the enhancement. I know my c10's paint pops like crazy with a good paste wax on it, but if it were a daily I'd likely go to a sealant. Just pick the stuff that makes the most sense on how you'll be using the car. 0 Rich
Bill I only hand polish my Vette too. You won't treat the metallic any differently than any other color. Brilliant Glaze is a must with that paint though. Will really make it sparkle.
0 xlr8rvette
I am a proponent of the Brilliant Glaze. It definitely gives the pop I want. And yes, it will be nice not to be OCD about black anymore. I am presently ordering a few "new" items from Adams. Not picking the Vette up until just before Christmas and want to wash and shine with fresh stuff.....There I go ....OCD 'ing already. Its a desease Rich

0 Rich
There are two orange C7's on Corvette Blvd. inside the museum right now. You can see them on their live cameras. http://www.corvettemuseum.org/webcam/camera2.shtml
