Texguy87
Well guys I'm new around here to the forum, second post ever. I finally got around to detailing the pumpkin ( daughter and all her teachers refer to it that way so it stuck ). The weather has been crappy, as it usually is in Texas... you know, cold, rainy, no rain, surprise rain blah blah. I didn't wax it or seal it yet because I'm waiting to correct the paint ( basic swirls and scuffs ) and then going all out with everything up to Ceramic Coating. This time around though I just used the Adams soap, used a non oil compressor to dry it off and then went back with the H2O Guard & Gloss to top it. Adams glass cleaner and Tire shine as well. She looks great BUT the deep detail will happen once I receive everything else to complete the job 100% which will be a good 1-2 day job. Also I LOVE the Interior Detailer, it leaves everything looking amazing with not TOO much shine and non static finish which wins with me.. I am VERY OCD with my truck and hate dust and dirt getting inside or building up... my trip to Arizona about sent me into over drive. I also as you see, keep a can of air duster in the truck to keep the dust out of the cracks in the dash etc. The interior pic is back in August when I only had the Interior detailer from Adams, finally placed the BIG order a few months later. Anyways I LOVE Adams products and glad I finally decided to try more of them... now I am catching the bug worse than ever. I have a whole closet full of different products ( love giving everything a try and testing them out )... but with Adams I found something I love to use and share with others!. Anyways sorry for the story guys, thanks!. AND I do plan to get a Classic black Texas plate that says Pumpkin, the white plate just doesn't match. PacificNWBuckeye
Never seen that color on a full size, I would have maybe went with Great Pumpkin, but I love that special from when I was a kid. Can't wait for the full detail. Texguy87
Texguy87
Thanks everyone!. I love the color.. I have had about new vehicles since 2012 and this one is what I finally stuck with because of the Ignition orange ( Limited to 1,000 for 2015 )... Then Ram made me mad bringing back 2-3,000 more for 2017. However I will definitely update it once I get it all completely taken care of with plenty of pics!. Currently waiting to get new headlights which I hate but at least it is under warranty... don't like chrome.
Texguy87
I played around with photoshop to see how that plate would look once I get it! Played around with different spelling variations. There are two here in Orange County Ca, I saw one on the road and just today I saw one being loaded up on dealer ramps as their show piece. Texguy87
Had to give her another wipe down with some detail spray and touch up the windows after an overnight freeze... almost like a mirror! Can't say enough how great Adams is!. Spotless by Josh Clark, on Flickr
