Jskin261
I have clear film on my 1/2 my hood and front fenders. What are the rules about polishing or waxing the film?
0 Nathan
Be careful with the edges, don’t get any product in there, or it will lift the clear bra. Unlike the common belief, they can be clayed, be sure to be careful though and make sure to clay in the direction away from the clear bra. I have polished them but it doesn’t work very well, I would use something like the revive hand polish. You can ceramic coat, seal, glaze, and wax them, but again, don’t get product in the edges. With the pad, go from the clear bra, over the edge, onto the paint, so you don’t get product in the edges. You could also just get really close but not touch the edges. When using these techniques, be sure not to have a glob or product on the pad. 0 GXPaycheck
What kind of film? ExPel has its own brand of polish.
0 Rich
I have film on both the Vette and the Cadillac. Only issue I have ever had is the edges. Get product on there, and you'll find that dirt will stick to the edges easier. 3M on both rides, and the Vette has the newest edition of the film which is working a LOT better than the old film. But other than the edges, I treat it just like the paint. Have never had any problems with it.
0 Jskin261
Thanks for the info! I'm not sure on the brand it came installed from the Toyota dealership.

And I use the Revive Hand Polish delicately on the surface with good results. Nathan
