Hand Wash / Line Dry

VolvoNutt

Question

Anyone hand wash their towels with warm water the MRB (do I even need suds??) I may be ignant as I have not done a load yet, (I only have 4 or 5 towels)but why not just hand wash in a bucket and then throw them over a line???

I realize some heat is needed to break down the wax particles in the towels, but if using appropriate warm water.....

Thanks!!

I have hand washed a few towels when I was traveling and didn't have access to a washing  machine and let them air dry.  I didn't have any problems with the towels and in some cases reused them during the same trip.

For my heavily soiled towels I like to hand wash/presoak them briefly before putting them in the wash. I mix hot water and some detergent in a wash pan and work the towels good. Rinse them and toss them in the washing machine and start the normal washing process immediately.  They come out great on the heavy used towels.  Hang on the rack to air dry. I will hand wash my lightly soiled utility towels if I don’t have enough for a full load and they aren’t too dirty. I always machine wash my towels that hit the paint.

Get some Microfiber Revitalizer for washing them Matt.  You'll be impressed!
