I thought you weren't supposed to keep the detailing supplies in the garage because of the heat causing issues and the same with freezing temps? I can't imagine that people only keep them in their garage 3-4 months out of the year?

Love it... and you know I'm partial to a lowered chevy with 22" TBSS reps so you're definitely in my sweet spot
Man I remember that thing when you had them...now I saw where the 24' ones are starting to ship out today. Makes me want to go staggered and do a 22/24 setup until I can afford to go completely 24's
I am just not sure if they will look DONKISH, kill my ride, and if it is really worth the money to swap over to them.

You know I was hoping for a Chevy, but hard to pass up a Raptor no matter what brand you like. Also I have a soft spot for Red vehicles so
Can't wait to see where this thing goes...I have drooled over every vehicle you have modded for as long as i can remember. I mean like even pre "backpack" incident.

Haven't posted on here in awhile, and I finally got to try some new products and also clean the truck. It was filthy, but as always it is easy to get back into shape. I finally used DWC on the wheels and applied Quick Sealant afterwards. I really like the QS so far. Makes the wheels pop even more and hopefully makes them easier to keep clean.
BTW I got 4.10's and my Detroit TrueTrac installed 3 weeks ago, retune done (runs much better now), installed my Transcooler, and am just enjoying it. I need to get some exhaust leaks fixed, and then put some miles on it.
Sorry for the basic shots of the truck. By the time I got done the wife was ready to fire up the grill and I was ready for a cold beer.

Love the color...The owner of the company I work for just bought an X5 last night and drove it in this morning...it is a similar color to this and looks amazing...I love Grays

I am so ready to try this on my Trailblazer SS chrome 22's

Very interested in this, because I loved the previous sealant like this. Ready to see longevity and water beading/sheeting properties.

Well I finally got around to washing and waxing the truck. Thing turned out awesome and pictures don't do it justice. Still love this truck more than I even thought I would.
BTW oldest son wanted to help me wash the truck and when we got done he wanted to take pictures of it. So he got his cell phone (old one of ours that isn't connected to service) and he went to snapping pictures of the truck and the Suburban. I must say it was awesome to see how much attention and focus he gave the project.
Also got the wifes suburban while I was at it. -
looks good! I assume it has 3.42 gears currently? I would go to 4.10 b.c you aren't going to notice much of a difference from 3.42 to 3.73. Smart move on the tru cool.
And you probably already have a tuner in mind but if you don't, i do like my blackbear tune
Sadly the truck somehow came with 3.23 gears and the trailering package...driving it though I swear it feels like it has 3.42 gears in it. Either way if I can find an axle to swap under it I will go 3.73, but if I am going all new I will do 3.90-4.10 gears.
I have a friend of mine that doesn't HPtuners so he will be adjusting my tune for me since there are a few little issues with what is done to it now.

Well the time finally came where someone bought the wifes 2004 Tahoe and I knew it was time to either buy a junker, or buy something that I completely 100% planned to keep for 5+ years. I have been in love with this truck since I first saw it and it is my fave GM color. I ended up getting a deal that I couldn't pass up and I literally have not stopped smiling ear to ear since it became mine. I have always wanted to have a lowered truck and was scared that I would hate it. As Lee told me I jumped both first first and got this truck. I love being lowered and can't believe it took me so long to have one.

One of the most under rated products I use from Adam's. I love this stuff.
-
so happy to see this! welcome back Dylan
-
Well, Adam's responded to my question about watery VRT, and all I can say is Adam's as a company (Adam) is just incredible.
Turns out the shelf life for best results is about 2 years, records show mine is about 3 1/2 years old (goof ball me!), longer than I thought. So, really somewhat my fault for not using it in such a long time.
But, I get an e-mail last night from Ben in Customer Satisfaction saying they are giving me 2 new VRT bottles plus throwing in a Gift Certificate. Certainly more than I expected.
So, I remain of course a loyal Adam's customer, whatever they had decided.
Once again here is an example of a company that goes out of their way to make sure customers are more than happy and taken care of.
Great products, from a great company, run by a great person, with a great staff. I just love these guys!
how much SVRT did you have go bad?
-
This doesn't compute to me?
-
Same thing here Fogle...I thought it was just what happens...but it is runny as hell.
-
Yes you can... No problem there, just not sure of the benefit of two coats of BG
-
-
I swear it has always been that glaze before the sealant would hurt durability?
-
Where in Georgia are you from?

- An unacceptable percentage of Flex Polishers overheat, burn up, and burn up plates at an alarming rate. When a Chinese company purchased Flex, it was time to say goodbye.
Has this always been an issue or just lately?
Sooooo Dylan's gone again?
