  1. I was recently car shopping and stopped to check them out myself. They are amazing cars and fun to drive but just a hair out of my budget. I decided to go with the Ford Fusion Energi and couldn't be happier. I can commute to and from work or around town in 100% electric mode or pack up the family and head to California with the ICE. It too is a great car at about half the price.
  2. No, I just washed with shampoo and dressed with Super VRT. It came out looking alright but I question the longevity of the finish. I guess cleaning with all purpose cleaner is probably a good start, then what would I finish with for a long lasting finish?
  3. So I recently decided to tackle my wife's extremely neglected minivan with some of my new found Adam's products and came across this.... Any suggestions? I washed it and applied Super VRT but it didn't really do the trick. I was thinking of getting my hands on some In and Out spray and trying that but thought I would ask you pro's. Thanks in advance!
  4. Industrial Automation - If you can dream it, I can automate it.
  5. It's near the mountains, probably about 20 miles until you actually start to climb. The land is relatively flat with spectacular views of the Rockies and tons of things to do near by. All in all it's a great place to live.
  6. Badge removal.... Removed the "Fusion" moniker due to poor adhesives and my Adam's wash pad getting caught on it.
  7. If you are need in need of critical analysis let me know, I'm your guy!
  8. You will get great shine, you just won't get the depth. I am very satisfied with the overall look and shine after using the sealant. Dylan uses it on his truck, and admittedly said it was way past due for a re-seal and it looked great...still. You could probably start a new thread or even find this debate within the forum but I think for a daily driver it's the way to go. The other thing to keep in mind is how the car is stored. If it's outside all the time then a sealant is definitely going to be better. Waxes have a very low melting point and will begin to break down around 160°F, sealants are much higher. I also have the Ford's premium leather and the guys at Adam's recommended the Total Interior Detailer. I was thinking of getting the Adam's Leather & Interior Cleaner but they said the Total Interior Detailer was a better fit. My 2¢
  9. If this is a daily driver you might consider a sealant over a wax. Sealants will remain effective for months vs. weeks and they are easy to apply. Just something to consider. You might also include some Total Interior Detailer
  10. Yes, you should always clay a new car. They are littered with contaminates from transport and manufacturing. It was probably delivered via rail thus it will pick up lots of contaminates over the commute. It probably also has over spray and other contaminates from when it was manufactured. I think they talk about it in this video. Matt did tell me that you will want to wait 6-8 weeks to seal it after the car was manufactured to let the paint finish curing and breath a little. So you might want to take that into consideration as well.
  11. I just bought a new Fusion Energi Ti and had the same dilemma. I went with the 2 bucket wash, then picked up the clay and quick sealant. I posted some photos and details here... http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/24430-a-visit-to-the-mothership/?p=388746 Hope it helps!
  12. Looks great across two twenty four inch monitors.
  13. What did you use to remove the adhesives during your debadging step?
  14. Nice job! What a great way to support the M.S. Ride.
  15. How do you work around clear bras? Do you mask them off and leave them alone? I'm a quick sealant user and I'm curious if I'm going to run into trouble if I try to use sealant on the bra. Thanks in advance!
  16. If it wasn't for YouTube I never would have found Adam's!
  17. This is amazing! Saw it in person today and was blown away at how bad it started and how amazing it finished. It truly went from almost undesirable to something I'd purchase. Great work.
