Why didn't they take it out to the street? Are they goinjg to make you gravel that portion?
They are supposed to do an apron later on this week
Make sure you leave it blocked off while your gone. Sure enough some clown will try and drive on it if it isn't blocked.
Theres only me and the gf that live here and we'll both be away for the weekend. But yes it will be blocked off even while were gone
-
It's currently blocked off and then we're going away for the upcoming weekend so I know at least a week of no one driving on it

I'm going to have to, to detail the cars for Carlisle
-
-
got a voicemail earlier from the contractor. So now the schedule of the electrician being available is the week of the 23rd. That's the week AFTER the GM Nationals in Carlisle. So now I'm gonna have some ugly *** looking cars for Carlisle.
This contractor has done nothing but pissed me off for this project. -
That think is coming along QUICKLY!!
Great idea with the rear door, having a drive-thru garage is sweet!
Not quick enough. Its taken 2 months since ground breaking.
-
I know it's been quite a while since this has been updated but its been quite a while since we had workers out here. Hence a very angry phone call last Friday so we've had some progress this week:
New floor:
New front door:
New rear door:
Still to come, the driveway and the electricity and insulation. Hopefully all of that will be done next week. I know the driveway is supposed to be.
-
yeah we got vented soffit.
The insulation hasn't been been started yet. That'll probably be this week so they may put the baffles in when they do the installation.
Hopefully it should all be done within a couple of weeks. My main goal is hoping to have the garage done by June so I can get the cars fully detailed for the GM Nationals at Carlisle.
-
you have no idea.
And now my parents are getting construction done on their house this week so no I have to move the cars again to another location while both houses have construction taking place.

Got some updates:Wednesday they put 99% of the roof shingles on:
Friday afternoon, we got a door!!!
They showed up this morning to finish the roof shingles and do the siding:
-
Looks good..................But mine's shinier! :lolsmack:
If this contracting team can ever get this damn garage finished already, mine can be as nice and shiny

new rims installed:

I'll just leave these here... Not strange but a heck of a lot of work!
somebody put the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car!!! I always knew Ford was a little funny like that!!!

Paypal takes a fee out based upon the total income brought in by the merchant. I used paypal to accept credit cards for my DJ business:
Purchase payments received (monthly) Fee per transaction
$0.00 USD - $3,000.00 USD 2.9% + $0.30 USD
$3,000.01 USD - $10,000.00 USD 2.5% + $0.30 USD
$10,000.01 USD - $100,000.00 USD 2.2% + $0.30 USD
> $100,000.00 USD 1.9% + $0.30 USD

It does look like they sealed the upper layers of cinder blocks. You can see it almost looks like a creamy overflow on the blocks. Obviously it's not creme but I think you see what I'm talking about.
Also, regarding the slope, if you notice the front door is 2 layers of cinder block where the rear door goes down 3 layers so that tells me it should be sloping that way.
New garage ... updates
