I took the side moldings off my 99 vette with no fading issues. But it is a garage queen with only 28000 miles. Is there a little piece you can take off first that way if it is faded you could put it back on?

Good question it, i would have to agree with all of the above Cant wait i just ordered some on Friday Im so excited to try it, should be nice for a quick clean up on the daily driver every couple of days. :banana:

If it helps you i have charged the last couple of cars i did. I charged a guy 75 to do his vette and 100 to someone with a Nissan Armada and i feel like they both got great deals . I use to not charge friends anything but this stuff is expensive and i gotta figure out how to recoop my used up products. Good luck!! charging is something i always feel bad doing since i enjoy it so much.

i didnt get the details about the car but i do know he races that thing alot. I agree the wing is ugly but my thought is if it helps performance and has a actual use then it isnt bad. Its not like alot of the ricers out there that have all that junk on them that suits no purpose but to look cool.

Yes i had a little ghosting on a couple of the emblems but it went away with SHR and

I removed the emblems with fishing line then used goo gone and a glove and started rubbing the excess glue and tape off. Now with that said the bowtie emblem on the tailgate was the worst one!!!! They must put that big emblem on with some kind of adhesive instead of tape??? It took me about 2 hours and 3 blisters on my fingers to get the stuff off. What did help a little at the end was i took a good rag and wrapped it around a putty knife and went to town, this helped a little but i did manage to put one small nick in the paint.

I met a guy today that has one heck of a Z06.... you gotta have confidance and some extra $$$$$ to buy a new Z06 and tear out the motor and do this to it. This is one time it is ok to have a wing on the back ( it was carbon fiber and weighted less then 6 pounds) Check it out. He used this stuff on everything. He used it for vinyl,rubber and tire said it didnt leave a glossy shine which is what most people wanted.

Ok thought i would share this with you guys. A detailing shop offered to do a free demonstration on how to detail your car for one of the clubs im in. I usually do not go to these because i am pretty set with the info i get from you guys and with the way im doing things. First of all they only washed the car (no 2 buckets, no grit gaurd )and didnt do any polishing or correction. Second, he told us to use a brush to make fancy lines in the carpet so it looked like it had been detailed and finally i asked him about his rags and this is what he uses So i guess my question would be am i doing something wrong or is this the wrong way to do things? Needless to say we went to Hooters after that i think i have more people wanting to Buy Adams and want me to do a clinic for them. Chaulk it up to yet another one for Adams The guy then went on to tell me that the only time they suggest using a buffer is on light colored cars like white or grey and only does dark colored cars like black and blue by hand

Yeah it is a back up camera. Very cool, the screen pops up on the rear view mirror. Your right whenever my dad buys a new car he tells them to take the dealership sticker off of it before he signs the papers. He alwasy tells them if they want to pay him he will leave the advertisment on it. Guess im kinda like my dad but i always take it to the next level. Yeah im gonna try and call you tomorrow. Kinda feel like im calling the king of all detailers

Well after discussions on this forum i decided to debadge the new truck. I also added a couple of other litle things and did a nice clean job.....take a looks and let me know what you think. Tailgate before.....and let me tell you, the bowtie in the middle was not fun getting the adhesive off, it took me about 2 hours. i have blisters on 2 of my fingers. After Door badges before Door badges after.... i did add some cool little Corvette Jake skulls Jake Skull..... Im a corvette guy so i had to add a little touch Took off the old Z71 stickers and put on some new ones i got on ebay before After And finally replaced the gold embem on the grill with a chrome one.
