  1. Adams a great guy i had the chance to talk to him last week Good story
  2. Yeah im behind you all the way........ that way when you turn around to run ill be in front
  3. not sure there isnt anything i dont already have....but i would like one of those spiffy hats Junkman was wearing in Reno. She just told me a few minutes ago that she would like a nice Adams visor to wear She would make a great sales lady.
  4. I dont think you need to even clean it? I have just left mine in the container, it is only used for Americana and it isnt like it is getting dirty or anything.
  5. Ok so the other day i come home and my wife has the vette pulled out of the garage and her car pulled in taking up the whole thing.... im thinking to myself ut oh what did i do now :willy:so i hesitantly walk up to the garage to see my wife with a bottle of detail spray in one hand and a clay bar in the other, she looks and me and smiles and says "feel the car see how smooth it is now" ...... i think i created a monster she actually followed that up with some americana and a once over with BSG. I came home the next day and she had the leather cleaner, leather conditioner and the carpet and upholstry cleaner out and was going to town on the interior. We were laying in bed last night falling asleep and she asked me if i would show her how to use the PC I think im gonna introduce her to the junkman videos and heck i may even get her signed on here to talk with you guys Yesterday we were at a car show and she was pimping Adams products to everyone telling them how easy it is to put on and nice it was washing the car after she waxed it cause all the bugs just came right off.... I think Adam should hire her.
  6. I really like the WW but it is only for minor build up. The day i got it i though i would go for it and i felt like i was sanding the car so i stopped. I then did a regular wash and as my luck has it, it rained that night soooo this morning i gave it another shot and it worked great I did my whole truck in less then 30 minutes and it looks great. I did get the gallon with the waffle weave towel and it was well worth it. Another great product Adam!! Steve
  7. Usually I spray my car down with the foam gun then fill my 2 buckets that usually gives enough time for the soap to lift the dirt off. A good rinse and hand wash and you are good to go
  8. Your my super hero, that is the coolest car on the road. I have been known to use a paint stir stick and a rag to get into tight areas. Here is what i like to use most of the time when i need to get into a tight spot.
  9. did you get a autograph i hear they are gonna be worth some money one day.
  10. I had a friend whos dad had a C3 when i was growing up, man i thought that car was cool :glasses:All i could think about was one day being able to drive one of those. Well that day never came i bought a C5 instead . Without sounding too corny i am AMERICAN and i love American past times. I had a Harley i own a vette and i drive a Chevy truck. Yes i love apple pie and ice cream and i love cruising down old Route 66 and i love watching the Cardinals play baseball. A vette is a sign of american MUSCLE!! It always bugs me when a guy with a supped up car starts downplaying the real muscle behind a vette. Yes there are alot of cars out there that have had alot of stuff done to them and with all do respect if i did the same modifications to my vette it would be faster then theirs. I never say anything bad about someones car, they have it they love it and they are proud of it and that alone makes me happy for them. I dont care if they are driving a Gremlin. SHHHHHEWWWWW i think i need a beer of coarse it will be a cold Bud Light since it is made right here in St louis by hard working Americans (we just wont talk about how Anheiser is now owned by a European company) Ok rant over we now return you to your regualr programming.
  11. You sure your wives werent mooning them out the back windows? You should definatly show up at the next club meetin gand ask for your new vest And dont forget to take pictures
  12. Those G8's are hot!! Oh and we get the point you have an award winner, you know no one likes a show off j/k congrats on the awards you deserve them
  13. yep, i talked to Adam last week and he said to discuss it with you thats why you got those PM's ...... We have about 240 members in my St louis club and about 120 members in the illinois club. If we can make it happen i think we might have a good turn out. Im hoping to talk to Adam again this week so i can get some things rollin for september. I should have a answer back this week from the location about water and power. I want to make sure all the car clubs in the St Louis area know about Adams My goal is to have a big Adams following in this area and run all these other yahoo's out of my town...... Lookin forward to seeing everyone in Carlisle
  14. That grill is sweet You could get a nice chrome insert for the grill on ebay for about 40 bucks. thats what i did to mine and it looks good.
  15. Ill let you know when i get everything squared away
  16. You need the waffle weave towel. I used my new WCW today and tried it with both towels, the waffle weave works much better. By the way this is a great product once again from Adams I will be using it alot between washed and to help keep my DD lookin good.
  17. Great pics, looks like you guys are having fun I may need to add this to my list of places to next year.
  18. Got mine today cant wait to use it this weekend, and man it does smell good
  19. WooHoo got my vacation approved, got my room with some friends.... on my way to Carlisle at the end of the month.... anyone else going to be there? Some friends of mine set up a booth as part of the swap meet stuff so i get to be right in middle of the action. We should get together and go out for drinks and dinner??? should be fun times. Junk told me about a good place to get steaks so im sure the 2 of us will be there:drool:
  20. I think he is on his way to Reno. I hope all is good for him
  21. Yeah he said he had been detailing cars for 20+ years The only problem im having is he had some product made by a local company and everyone wanted to run out and get some because it is local???? I got a email from the club i was there with and they have the company coming to our meeting on Thursday night to sell some product to everyone, i need to figure out a way to get them to not buy and come over to Adams, guess i got my work cut out for me. Has anyone heard of dying the seats on a car when you cant get the dirt clean, the detail guy had a spray can of what he called dye?? he cleaned the seats and when the marks didnt come off he sprayed them with this stuff and they disapeared???? seems like he had something that was just covering up dirt. Im working on a detail clinic here in St Louis for the end of September that may even include a visit from the ever popular and infamous Junkman but im afraid im going to loose some of these people, its going to suck when they spend the money on this stuff and then have to turn around and throw it away and replace it with Adams
