  1. Great looking car, but in the first picture the front seats look like two spacemen sitting there, or is it just me.
  2. Thanks, and when it is the garage, it is also covered.
  3. So if I am reading this correctly, my car is garage keep and not driven as a daily driver, so after polishing, I do not need to apply the Super Machine Wax, only one or two coats of the Americana Wax. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p> Next, if I have minor scratches the Fine Machine Polish is better to use then the Revive Polish. <o:p></o:p>
  4. I have washed the micro fiber towels (plush) along with the white waffle drying towels and I have not had a problem.
  5. A group of us helped out a local high school last night by supplying are Corvettes for their Homecoming event. Needless to say with the kids getting in and out of the cars a few time and standing around waiting I had finger prints all over the car. Well first thing this morning I decided it needed to be cleaned up. My plan was to try my new Waterless Car Wash and the blue drying towel, followed by detail spray. When I went to get started, I noticed that I must have run trough something and there was an oily mess on the lower area of the left front wheel well as well as the rear wheel well. So that needed to be cleaned first. After that was completed. I got out the WCW and started to apply it. I noticed right off it smelled just like coconut. Nobody ever said that. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p> So with the WCW (coconut) done then the detail spray (cherry) followed by the Invisible Undercarriage Spray (grape), I thought man my car smells just like a big fruit salad now.<o:p></o:p>
  6. My last order had a bunch of those in the box to take up the space. I pitched them along with the box. They appeared to be not as dense as the detail foam blocks. Besides I have about 10 of the detail sponges.
  7. A couple of coats of the Machine Super Wax will work from what I have read on another post. If not go with the Americana wax, seeing that you are not in a real harsh climate. You will still have some days that will allow you to work on the car during the winter months. Lucky for me I am in Florida and the car gets the same treatment year around.
  8. Where is here? Because if it gets to -40 below anything, I sure don't want to be there. I will stay in sunny Florida thank you very much. Also detailing here is the same year round.
  9. Good question, I too was wondering the same. The answer about contacting Ashley was also good. She is a great contact and a typical Adams employee 110% customer service. I have two bottles of the WCW and one towel, was thinking about ordering the special they have for the gallon refill with a 16 oz bottle and a waffle towel.
  10. I use the old Adam method, of using a Plush Micro Fiber polishing towel and my pc. Is that not a good idea for the Americana wax?
  11. Welcome aboard. You are going to love all of the Adams Products. I have used them since there was only Swirl and Haze Remove, Revive Polish, Buttery Wax, VRT and of course Detail Spray. Yes seeing I am only a few miles from you I to look forward to the cool air tomorrow. It has been awhile. But snow NO THANK YOU.
  12. No, I spray Adams Glass Cleaner directly on the glass and then use the wand. No streaks. What is nice about it, at least on the vette, is I can get right down to where the glass and dashboard meet and also in the lower corners. These two areas are the hardest to clean on a vette. I was at a show and I over heard the two judges talking about how clean the windshield was at that lower section. Of course the Adams Glass Cleaner helped also.
  13. I have a 2001 vette and it is the only way to clean the inside of the windshield. I love mine.
  14. Well my vette does not get abused much so I can see me going through this WCW. Better order a gallon to have it on hand.
  15. Sorry for the dumb question, but I just received my WCW and have not used it yet. I assume that you use it the same way as detail spray. Simply spray it on and wipe it off. Also when I received it (came with my new Black Detail bag) I received a blue towel much like the waffle drying towels. I assume again that is for the WCW. Then again maybe I assume to much.
  16. This is not the first time I have won at a car show, but if it was not for the results from Adams Detailing products, I am sure I would not do as well as I do. This show was put on by a local Corvette Club (Bay Area Corvette Club) and sponsored by a local restaurant. The awards were gift cards for the restaurant, which is fine as I have a room full of trophies and wall plaques.
  17. I may be off base on this, but I am assuming the decal/sticker is on the outside and the tint is on the inside. Therefore the steam will not affect the inside tint.
  18. I think you are right it is only 55 inches and at my age that is a little hard to see from the sofa.
  19. He actually scratched his glass using a razor blade. I have never seen that before.
  20. Thanks , and by the way, that is one fine loking Trailbalzer SS you have there. The wife drives an Extended TB.
  21. I realize Americana Wax has been out for some time now, and I ordered my just after it came out, but I have not used it as of yet. Now for my dumb question. I will be getting the car ready for an annual Corvette show next month. My plan was to first clay the car if needed (plastic bag test). Then apply a coat of Fine Machine Polish and remove it. Next a coat of Super Machine Wax. Wait about a half hour or so and then remove it. Wait 12 hours ( I was just made aware of this) and wipe the car down with a plush microfiber towel. Then I was going to apply a coat of the Americana Wax. Does this appear to be the correct procedure, or is the Super Machine Wax needed?
  22. Look what Big Brown just dropped off. I have the older Red Detail Bag, so now I can use it to store my Porta Cable and the new pads I just got.
  23. I live in Florida and the humidity has an affect on the drying time, but I have never waited that long. In fact I normally remove it anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour after I applied it. Adam asked me on a post where I show a few pictures of my car after the application if I had any issues with a haze or residue when I removed it. I have never had an issue with it. I do not remove it by hand however. I use an old Adam trick, and use a plush microfiber towel and my pc. I lay the towel out fully opened on the surface then place the buffer on the towel almost in one corner and wrap the excess around the handle of the buffer. It will take a few towels, but it works great. I have heard that if you have residue still on the finish a quick wipe down with Adams Detail spray will take care of it.
  24. I have been using Adams on my 2001 Corvette from almost the first day I got it. I have been dealing with Adam and his staff and if there is one thing that makes them stand out, it is the customer service. Welcome to the top of the line detailing products and customer service.
