  1. My garage queen has not ever been truly coated with the full-on Ceramic. I have only used the original ceramic spray coating and then the UV ceramic spray. Thinking of doing the full-on Ceramic coating, but not sure if I want to go with the Graphene or going with the UB ceramic. Maybe a little background is needed. As I said the car really does not get driven a lot so have not been to concern with just have the spray coating and supplement it with the CS3, but now maybe the full ceramic would make life a little easier. So what say all you ceramic users?
  2. I applied the spry ceramic over a year ago and I want to do a new coat as I can see it has lost some of it protection. The car is garaged kept and is not a daily driver, and the paint does not nee major correction. Only a few small areas will see the buffer. So should I apply the surface prep to the entire car or just the areas I corrected?
  3. First and I am not sure if this has been asked, but here goes. I am about to get the car ready for the first major show of the season and I need to polish the car to remove the original UV Spray Ceramic coating. My question is how do you maintain the spray coating once you open the bottle and use it? I was checking my supplies and noticed that even though I cleaned the sprayer and pickup tube after it was used last, it feels sticky, and nothing is being picked up. I took the sprayer off the bottle when I finished the last application pumped it until no further product came out. I then used clean water and sprayed it through the sprayer. If this means the product has crystalized, I assume it is no long any good. Is that correct or is there anything I can do? Part Two: I need some supplies and if the UV Spray Coating is no good any longer, is the recommendation to step up to the Graphene and if I do Can I still use the CS3?
  4. I have been using the UV Ceramic spray coating, but because the car is not driven much and is garage kept under a good quality car cover, I am sure the coating is still in good condition as far as protection goes. So, I want to strip it and apply the Graphene Spray coating. I believe all I really need to do is to use the one step polish and my Adams Swirl Killer buffer to remove the older ceramic coating. Is that correct and is there a way to check and see if it has been removed prior to applying the new Graphene?
  5. I will be do a complete spring detail in a few months (I live in Florida spring comes early) and will be applying the Graphene Spray Coating Advanced. I have a lot of the original CS3 still, so can I use that on the Graphene coated paint surface or do I need to add the Graphene CS3 to my collection?
  6. While I use the SC3 all the time and love it, I decided to apply the ceramic boost to the car seeing I have not done it in over 4 months. I also was a little concerned with it streaking, which can be an issue with it. However I used a totally new method for applying and removing it and it worked like a charm. No streaking and smooth slick finish. What I did is I applied it to a microfiber applicator pad. applied it to a small area and applied it as I do the ceramic spray. Back and fort overlapping and then across with the over lap also. Then with a double soft Microfiber polish towel I removed it and buffed it before it could dry. I sounds like a lot of work, but is most detailing jobs. However I was able to do the complete car in about 4 hours tops and that was stopping for lunch and a few breaks. I am after all 75 so I am not as fast as I once was. Took more time when I was sitting on the ground and having to get up and move. As I said I love the CS3, but I am sure there is more pop and depth with the boost, but I would not do this all the time. Here are some pictures. Not the best as they were taken with by phone and in the garage.
  7. I realized I typed CS2 after I posted it. That was my question and I have been completely satisfied with the CS3. I use it on both cars and it really does keep the ceramic effect on the water up. Thanks for your reply.
  8. I did a complete detail on my wife's Equinox about 3 months ago. I followed the same steps as I do for my garage queen Corvette. After the clay and polish I did the surface prep, followed by the UV ceramic spray coating. Waited until the following day and applied the ceramic boost. After each wash I will normally go over the car with the CS2. The car is garage kept. We are both retired so the car does get used, but it is not like when we were working. So should I still do the boost from time to time and if so can I apply it after a coat of the CS2?
  9. Actually I sometimes feel that way, and I have been an Adams user since his only products were Buttery Wax, Revive Polish and a few others. Now it seems like every time I get stocked up on a new product out comes some new and better and me being the loyal customer places and order for the new stuff.
  10. I hate to be a pain, but seeing I now know my gallon of CS3 will not go to waste I need to know if I make the switch from the ceramic UV Spray coating to the Graphene do I need to strip the UV off before applying the Graphene? I usually will apply a second coat of the UV after a few months, so it is getting close to that time will I be ok to apply the graphene over the ceramic UV coating or get the buffer out and strip it off?
  11. If I apply the Graphene Spray Coating can I still us the CS3 in between, as I have with the Ceramic spray?
  12. Well mine is over a year old and has bee stored in the garage in a cabinet along with my other Adams products. I always kept my Americana and Patriot in the house because I live in Florida. The older of the two is the original ceramic spray that Adam first released before the UV spray. It seemed to work as advertised the other day when I used it on my wife's Equinox as far as the rainbow with in a few minutes. I did have an issue with the sprayer neither would spray so I changed the one on the original and finally got it to pickup and spray onto the application pad. I always removed the spray and clear the tube before storing it away until the next use. I did look at the ceramaic in the bottle and it appeared to be the same pinkish color as when it was new.
  13. I realize we are talking Graphene here and not the original Spray or UV spray, but is that the same shelf life 30 days for the Spray ceramic coating?
  14. I have the original Ceramic Spray as well as a bottle of the UV ceramic spray and was wondering how long is the shelf life. I did my wife's car over the weekend and noticed when I went to use the spray it would not spay onto the applicator pad. I did remove the spray applicator after I finished last time I used it and cleaned it out. I changed to a new sprayer and it took some time and even after it picked up the product it still did not want to spray when I tried. I had to pump it over and over. The UV never sprayed, but then again I did not change the sprayer. The ceramic Spray I have was one of the originals and is in the tall bottle. I looked at the product and it was still a normal liquid but I never looked at the original color. Both my products (original and the UV) are a pinkish color. It went on normally and rainbowed in about 2 minutes. Just wondering if I will need new when I need to do my car in about 6 months.
  15. I finally had the time to do a full detail on the wife's 2018 Chevy Equinox. After the wash and clay bar the previous day I took a lot of time looking over the body for paint issues and found only a few minor issues and was able to correct them with my Swirl Killer. After the complete polish of the body I used the surface prep and them began the application of the ceramic spray. I forgot how much more work was involved on this then my Corvette but finally finished. Here is the results>
  16. Thanks and from what we hear, she is doing great she must have or has a very mild case as she is bouncing off the walls. Not to worried as we (the wife and I) have had our shots. So I assume there is no real need to apply it to a fresh coat of the ceramic, but use it just as it is called, a Boost to the ceramic. I guess I took the instructions on the bottle to mean it was required to be applied after a minimum of 4 hours after the spray was applied not that it was a must. Thanks Again.
  17. Well it is tucked tucked away in the garage so it will be well over 4 hours. Seeing we had or granddaughter on Friday and found out on Saturday she was COVID 19 positive we will not be going anywhere for a while so not worrying about it getting dirty. I will do a little research on the issue of to boost or not to boost. I may have been when Adam first released the original ceramic spray kit that is was shown.
  18. I seem to remember a video on the application of the original Ceramic Spray that stated that after the spray was applied and buffed the vehicle needed to be out of the elements for 12 hours then a coat of the ceramic boost was needed to be applied. I see it is still available, but none of the videos mention using it as I just described. The reason I ask, is I just finished applying the ceramic spray to my wife's metallic blue Chevy Equinox. I was planning to apply the boost tomorrow after breakfast if it is still a required or even recommended step. I do use it during the year on my car just add a little more pop. I know where are the pictures, tomorrow.
  19. Thanks Rich. Now I need to see if I have an BG left after switching over to Ceramic coating
  20. I am changing up the look of my engine bay by replacing some of the painted pieces to polished Stainless. My question is can I use the ceramic spray on the stainless as I have done on the paint parts?
  21. I have a few stainless Steel and chrome piece on order for the engine bay and was wondering if I can apply the ceramic spray on them and if so, should I wipe them down with the ceramic prep first?
  22. This is what I was getting when I try to access the store site. I did find that this only happens on the two PC that are using this virus software. I can access the site with my laptop my tablet and my cell phone. I have a call into the computer people that monitor and service our PC's. I ran a scan and all URL's were clear and no malware was discovered. II was starting to panic, be cause I will be placing an order after the holidays.
  23. I have tried different ways to try and access the Adams Site but I kept getting an error message. I had no issue access the forum, so I was wondering is the site down or is it some other issue I need to check out? Below is the Error Message
  24. It was the one where Joe was showing the application of the Ceramic coating and how the UV light works. I simply miss understood what he was saying and it was after doing the complete car, application and removal how we can go back with the UV light and see if there are any missed spots, not that he applied the coating to the entire car then checked for missed spots before removing it.
  25. Thanks That is what I thought. I did go back and look at the video and and I think I was taking it when he said he could coat the entire car and then go back with the UV light to see what he may have missed, not meaning to coat the entire car before removing it, but checking after the coating was removed from each panel.
