This last weekend, Adam, Matt and myself had the pleasure of traveling to Mid America Motorworks in Effingham IL to complete a full day of video production and a day dedicated to an Adam's Polishes detail clinic. What can I say about Mid America Motorworks? Well, they were incredibly hospitable. Mike Yager, the owner of Mid America Motorworks made us feel like family from the time we walked into his conference room. What a great guy and that genuine warmth pours out of his team as well. We were able to meet his wife and two sons who are all involved at M.A.M. Ed Baumgarten, Mid America Motorworks photographer was amazing. Very professional and very very helpful. He has an incredible studio for shooting amazing cars and had a lot of cool camera gear I was checking out (only problem was it is Nikon and I shoot Canon. Not a big deal though). He took a bunch of great shots and was always reminding Adam to keep the label towards him. Ed's son Alex was also very helpful on the day we showed up. He is the videographer for the company and also does some research and development for the company as well. You could see his passion for getting a great shot, as he showed us around the different areas of the campus for shooting locations. We definitely took his advice and got some great content. Overall the experience was one of a kind. We ate at only one restaurant the whole time we were there which was called "Firefly" and it was amazing food. I was able to see actual fireflies which everyone in that area call "Lighting Bugs." Also the catfish in the pond out back of the restaurant were crazy. Check out the video of Matt feeding them to see the madness. We look forward to getting back out there for Corvette Funfest this year. We'll be putting on clinics and selling our product this year and you'll see almost the whole team. Hello Everyone, I had the pleasure of traveling to Reno, NV for Hot August Nights about two weeks ago. It was a great time and there were so many great cars. We had some amazing cars in our booth and were able to help some of our friends polish up their customs. Adam was able to head down to the Eldorado and help the Top 25 Barrett Jackson Cup Nominees shine up their cars. Overall it was very busy but was great meeting new people and making some cars look amazing. Enjoy the video coverage from the event. Look out for a Photo Gallery early next week.

Adam, Matt and I had a great time at Cars and Coffee last weekend in Lafayette CO. Saw some incredible cars and met a lot of cool people. To all of our local Colorado friends and out of town visitors, Every Wednesday night we, Adam's Polishes, host Cornhole Night at our friendly neighbors, Crystal Springs Brewery. A customer of ours, Jason, recently purchased a brand new M3. He has brought it to the shop multiple times and we have been dying to get our hands on it to take some photos. We were finally able to set up a day for him to drop it off to us. Here are some of the photos I got of it and thought you all would like them too! These were my favorite of the bunch.. What do you guys think?

You got some pretty awesome shots. It's amazing the cars that come out to that event every 1st Saturday of the month. Amazing!!!

The other two cars did not have a cover on them so they got wasted by not only the fire but the water and debris caused by the fire fighters.

Hello everyone, I wanted to finally post the writeup on the 1940 Ford Coupe that was brought to us about a month and a half ago. The story of this amazing car is pretty incredible. Enjoy the story and the pictures to go along with it. The customer pictured above brought his 1940 Ford into us to see if there was anything we could do for him. He told us that the car had survived a fire inside of a garage that had been struck by lighting. He two other cars in the garage and they didn't make it. This Ford is a car that he has put a lot of work into and was crushed that it was threatened by the fire. The car was covered but the night before the lighting strike the gentleman went into the garage, opened the trunk to air it out and left the cover pulled back towards the middle of the car. This caused the distinct char line on the back of the car pictured above. Now, as you can see the car looks destroyed and let me tell you, if I had a link for you to be able to click and smell your nose hairs would burn from the terrible smoke smell. After a little bit of discussion we gladly accepted the the car and drove it over to wash in our washing area. The gentleman drove off with high hopes but still pretty bummed with the current state of his precious car. While I took advantage of snapping photos of before and after, I didn't get much of the process. But, I did get a lot of video footage of the revitalize/detail process which I'm editing into a short video that I took a break from to deliver this write up. So I will post a response to this topic with the finished video link. The video has Adam working a lot on the car and a few of our other team members. So, as you can see the '40 Ford turned out perfect! A lot of the char and smell came off after a two bucket wash. The interesting thing was Adam added about six ounces of Rinseless Wash to the normal two bucket wash. It helped with lubricity and smell. The big job and the thing that took up most of the char and smoke damage was the Clay Bar. Adam and two of our other team members clayed the car twice for good measure. They clayed everything excluding the rubber. It was amazing how the clay grabbed all the nastiness right off the paint. After claying the whole car the men started to polish the paint of the car. Using our two stage polishing system they started with the Cyclo Polisher paired with the Orange Microfiber Pads and the Paint Correcting Polish. That did some great work but they then moved on to the White Microfiber Pads and the Paint Finishing Polish. You all should have seen the pads. They were very wasted from the smoke damage on the paint. Next the fellas moved on to the Orange Foam Pads and the Paint Correcting Polish still with the Cyclo Polisher. They were near perfect and finally finished the job with the White Foam Pads and the Paint Finishing Polish. This made the paint look perfect. Not only did the two step polishing system take away all the smoke damage it also fixed all the swirl marks in the paint. After polishing the paint the fellas put a nice coat of Brilliant Glaze on the paint and sealed it with our amazing Americana Paste Wax. The metallic look in the paint was sparkling like new! After the polishing of the paint, Adam and our other team members moved on to the chrome accents. They used our two stage metal polish system using our Metal Polish 1 and Metal Polish 2. While working on the chrome accents Adam, being the detailer he is, didn't want to miss the engine. So as the two guys finished the accents Adam moved on to the engine using All Purpose Cleaner to take off all the nastiness and then they all went at it with the metal polish system. The engine looked amazing after the detail as you can see from above. As you can see here our customer came back to pick up his beautiful classic and was very surprised how the Ford came back to life. You could see the instant gratification he was feeling and even gave Adam a hug in appreciation. It was amazing how our product took to the fire damaged coupe. I have to say as the guy taking pictures and video I was very amazed how well the car came out and am very impressed with the result. I hoped you enjoyed this story and write up. Hello there Adam's Polishes Community, My name is Joe Trigeiro. I recently was graced with the dream job to work for Adam's Polishes as the new full time Videographer/Photographer and Creative Designer. Before I continue any further I just want to give a sincere thank you to Adam Pitale and the rest of the Adam's Polishes team for the opportunity and also the warm welcome here at Adam's Polishes. First I'll begin with my history with Adam and the company and then move on to the most current project that I am working on. Back in 2010 I received a degree in videography from the Art Institute of Colorado. Upon graduating I began to work with a friend from school who had started his own video production company. We started by doing wedding locally in Denver and took freelance jobs with different corporations covering events and behind the scenes internal videos. In early July we were contacted by this gentleman by the name of Adam Pitale, in regards to producing a volume of instructional videos for his customers to refer to. We gladly accepted. Upon arriving to the first shoot which consisted of all the outdoor segements for the Volume 8 Instructional Detailing Videos. My friend and I quickly realized the enthusiasm presented by Adam and his team and how faced paced the day flew by. We were all thriving off each other and ended up finishing the rest of Volume 8 the next day. A couple weeks later my friend and I finished editing the videos and Volume 8 was live online August 12th 2012. Adam was impressed with our work and continued to hire us back for more video work. Move ahead to March, 2014, a few months back and two years after our first job with Adam's Polishes. Adam decided he wanted to create and updated version of his detailing videos and move on to Volume 9 Instructional Detailing Videos, which have yet to be released to the public. The experience and privilege of creating Volume 9 was absolutely extraordinary. I'll fill everybody in on that experience at a later time. Anyway, upon returning from the trip I contacted Adam through email in regards to any full time opportunity within his business. He had mentioned having a full time media person but was using my friend and I here and there just to create instructional volumes. After emailing back and forth for about 2 days Adam had me come into the office to meet with him around 9am. Being a full time job opportunity I was at the office at 8:45am. Adam was no where to be seen, so I ended up hanging out with Matt and took some awesome photos to host on Instagram. Around 1pm Adam rolled into the office with his perfectly detailed truck. Of course he was beaming with enthusiasm and was being as nice as ever. He pulled Matt and I into his office and we talked about the need of a media team member. After about 10min of discussion I was shaking hands with Mr. Pitale and no sooner later he had me in the Adam's Polishes shop truck headed to our distribution center to pick up product to bring back to the headquarters. Now after a couple months of work I have settled in. I have finished the edits on the new Volume 9 Instructional Detailing Videos, taken some incredible pictures of a clinic that was held here at the headquarters, took more amazing pictures of hot rods at a local car show here in Colorado, created a creative video of the new tire shine, and created the new instructional video of the new tire shine. Every thing has moved very fast but each day is an adventure and I feel very lucky to work here and even luckier to have such amazing co-workers and an incredible boss. Now, moving on to what's happening currently. In the last week I have been photographically inventorying each product we sell and every kit we sell also. These images will be utilized on the new website that is in development. Aside from that, we had a wonderful gentleman come by the offices with a 1940 Ford Coupe. The classic was housed in a garage with three other vehicles which was struck by lighting. The garage caught on fire and the only car to survive was the 1940 Ford Coupe. The front half of the car was protected by a cover but the back half of the car was exposed because the trunk had be opened by Glen the owner. It got wasted by the fire and Glen was really bummed being it his baby. When he brought it by a couple weeks ago, the whole back of the car was brown from the smoke. The whole thing stunk like a campfire and the chrome looked like bronze. The engine was brown, almost black and the underside of the car was wasted from the smoke as well. Glen was bummed to say the least, but he definitely had hope in his eyes. After a few days of detailing we brought it back to life. Our Clay Bar took away a lot of the smoke damage and our Paint Correcting Polish with the Cyclo Polisher made the paint look perfect. After hitting all the nooks and crannies the Coupe looked brand new! The smell was also minimized by the detail but Glen is going to redo the whole interior which will help with the smell. I have included a picture of the finished 1940 Ford Coupe. Also for further coverage on this product I'll be creating a full topic on the 1940 Ford Coupe with before and after photos and a little bit of video.
