I set mine about 55-60 degrees F during the winter months with average outside in the 20-30 degrees F range, I figured it added about $20 to my electricity bill, but my rate is pretty low at $0.085/kWh.
Edit - Garage is about 900sf, walls insulated to R-13, doors are R-19 and attic is blown-in at R-60.

Cadet heaters are made in the USA, in Vancouver, WA. I installed "The Hot One", RCP502S, 240V 30A. They are a little pricey though.

Aaaaahhhh, the joys of a warm garage. Very nice!
Adding a heater was one of the best things I did. Like you said, leaving the detailing products in place, but also having a warm car to drive in the morning is great.

Looks like Eric still has some white ones.

Those WeatherTechs look nice. For those of you with trucks, be careful with the ones that drain out onto the door sill. The salty water can get under the plastic door sill and into the inside of the rocker panel, and the rockers can rust from the inside-out. In the winter I use an OEM rubber mat that has a waffle pattern that just stores the water until in evaporates or it gets wiped out with a towel.

I hear that, last weekend I went through an entire can at one time, wheels, trim, all plastics, painted bed cover, tow hooks, hitch receiver...had to open the garage door to let all the fumes out, so I bought a new half-mask painting respirator for next time, figured $21 was worth the cost of saving a few brain cells.

Sweet pic, my two favorite colors, black and all-black!

You won't even see it on your tires. I use the QS on the wheels first and then put Tire Shine on the tires second. That way, the Tire Shine overspray is easy to wipe off the wheel and also won't interfere with the bond of the QS.
I also tried some QS on my black powder-coated bed cover to see if it makes it easier to keep clean.

Just checked out their website, some very nice cars. Looks like he will have lots of fun with those. Thanks for the info, Rich.

The stuff i need (want) is too expensive and I would have to buy them myself.
Most of my best gifts I have bought myself, saves my wife from having to figure out what to buy.
Go ahead and post what you want/need, even if your peeps won't buy it for you, I would still like to see some good gift ideas.

Since it has been a few weeks since I found out Nick was leaving AP, and there have been no official announcements, I decided to start up a thread so we can all thank Nick for everything he has done for us. While not an officially authorized thread, I figured since Nick is no longer listed on the Our Story page of the website, that it was no longer a secret or anything.
I know that I would not be a customer, or on this forum, if it had not been for Nick posting good information on the Ford Raptor Forum, answering all my emailed questions, and giving encouragement and positive feedback. I also enjoyed his excellent detailing write-ups and really had some good laughs at his witty humor.
So thanks Nick! I wish you the best of luck in your new adventure, keep in touch and let us know how you are doing in your next chapter.

Really? You guys don't want any detailing stuff for Christmas?
