I agree Wayne. The pump top is awful for the runny liquid products. They also got me fired up using metal poliah as well as brilliant glaze. Call customer service or use the new chat feature on the website and I imagine they will send you regular spout tops right away and make it right for you. Hang in there.

I just watched the new YouTube video for Hot August Nights and I was pleasantly surprised that there were no pump tops in their video. Maybe they are going to jump ship and abandon the pumps and go back to the spout tops. My fingers are crossed. The pumps are god awful for brilliant glaze and metal polish.

Annette- how do you like the Ulti-MATE garage cabinets? I've been seriously thinking about getting a few of the 2 door or 3 door upper cabinets to store towels and pads. Menards sells them and when they are 11% off the price isn't that bad. Also thinking about the Pro version of the cabinets but I probably don't need the extra heavy duty shelves. Do you really like yours? Do you shine them up with detail spray?

Can someone please take a picture of the side of the bottle so we can see what the dilution marks are? I read the only review on the sales website for the product to say the bottle does have marks on it for assisting the dilution process but I can't seem to find a picture of those marks on the sales website or forum. Thank you for any help.

What's the downside of drying in the sun? I find that's about the only way to get the microfiber pads and wash pads to dry without waiting about 3 days.

So is the 5.5 plate used for the 7" pads?

So I just dived in head first this week and bought the flex from Adams. I've been buying pads for a bit and now I can finally use them! (Who buys pads before the machine? Me I guess) Question: I measured my Adam's 7" pads and the Velcro is just over 6" wide. I measured the backing plate that came with the flex machine and its 5.5". Did I only get the factory backing plate or did I get the 6" plate which is designed for Adams 7" pads? Am I supposed to get two plates with it (one factory and second Adams)? Thank you for any help. I just want to start playing around on a cheap car and I don't want to get off on the wrong foot by not having the correct backing plate. Thanks again for the shine on discount on the machine.

I agree buying towels in bulk would be a nice option for those of us trying to feed the addiction and start a towel collection.

The sale is not good for the FLEX though right? I've been patiently waiting for a sale on it after I missed the one in March.

I noticed the online store doesn't have the tape mentioned above (must have stopped selling it?) - can anyone point me to a 3M product that is something similar to the old Adam's tape? I'm not trying to provide an external link or discuss the competition's products - since Adam's doesn't sell tape I would like your input on what I should buy. Thank you.
