  1. Something i can say that i don't recommend anyone to try (it gets good lol). What i used to do (key word), was stand on the rail of the bed and then a sideways foot on the little part right next to the rear window, that would help me get up higher in order to get further on the other side of the roof, i could actually get most of the roof that way. Well the bed liner is a plastic bolt-in one. We all know that water on plastic doesn't make the grippiest surface, you can probably guess what happened when my left foot when out and my right foot was stuck on the other side of the bed...........................................
  2. For daily use i have just a regular $5 case that covers the back and the sides. Works well, i've dropped it a few times and no scratches or cracks or dents or anything. When i feel adventurous i do have a lifeproof case i'll put on. Yes i have gone swimming with my lifeproof case, as well as taken it in the shower before.
  3. Get reinforced door panels. Make door dingers get insta-karma when they ding your door.
  4. I saw that a few days ago. Never realized the amount of damage an AK will do until you see it hit a bulletproof windshield like that. I wonder how much weight it adds to the car.
  5. Usually if its a truck i stand in the bed and do the back half of it. And then for the other side i just open a door and stand inside, maybe a small stool if you feel like standing inside is making you bend back a bit. If its an SUV then I skip the part about the bed and just stand inside.
  6. Not too bad. 70km/hr is about 43mph i believe. I normally do that anyway lol.
  7. The day i bought my first car i brought it home and gave it a full wash/clay/polish/wax. Granted it was already 12 years old at the time lol.
  8. That'll be going in my next order for sure. I hate my wiper blades, they look so fugly on the car. I don't even have them on the car most of the year. I only put it on when it rains. How is the beading in more city streets? I'd love to be able to just keep my wiper blades off year round.
  9. I completely am with you with the whole wheels situation. I try to be careful washing mine. But as dirty as they get with all the brake dust and road grime i have only ever waxed them once. Maybe one day i'll do a full clean with them off. Until then, its my daily/race car.
  10. Not the best day today............
  11. I might have to try something like that. I autocross too, but not comptitively enough to where i have to bleed brakes that often........ yet
  12. Same, i don't really notice a deeper shine. I mainly use it because it minimizes the swirl marks if there are any; that I actually notice a difference for.
  13. Thats a beautiful garage.
  14. Yea it does spray a smaller pattern. I use a more of a smaller rectangularish applicator since i have lower profile tires, and when i spray onto the applicator it still gets on my hand. I'm thinking of using one of the squeeze tops instead, i've always been more of a fan of those for tires.
  15. I try to, if i can't do it then i get help from someone, but either way i still use my own hands in the process. Only things i haven't done myself are getting my mufflers welded in and changing out my rear gears.
  16. Got to a few other parts on my list. Got my fenders rolled as well as put in my coilovers and camber plates. Getting her ready to hunt porsches at Autocross and road courses next year.
  17. I can't get over how massive and awesome those Z28 brakes are.
  18. Lets see.... Class Work Homework That seems to be my whole life lately. Its only mid terms in the Fall Semester and i already can't wait until Summer.
  19. Went back out today and shined the tires since i couldn't get to it yesterday. Have a 2 hour drive tomorrow so i wanted to give it 24 hours so it wouldn't sling.... And i love cruising home on the highway in a clean car.
  20. Alright so yesterday it rained. I waxed it a week ago so it beaded up pretty nicely and was easy to clean off with the waterless wash. After the waterless wash i decided to glaze it and wax it since its been getting heavy condensation in the mornings. Products used: Adams Waterless Wash (rinseless mixture) Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish Glaze Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax I'll let the before and after pics speak for themselves.... PS: People don't often believe this paint has 146k miles on it.
  21. What i personally do when i clay the car which i've noticed makes it so much easier for me...... Rinse the car off like normal, soap it up like normal, rinse it off like normal....... then soap it up again and use that as your clay lube, if you do it in the shade you can soap up the entire car and then just go through and clay the entire thing, then just rinse it off again. Speeds up the process so much, i'll probably never go back to the method of drying it off then using clay with the spray.
  22. Thats amazing. I've always loved the old Saleens.
  23. Come on i literally just bought the other one lol. Now i need this one for all my extra stuff.
