As you can see, correcting the paint does add more shine. Polishing removes scratches you can see, but the polishing is also removing imperfections you can’t see with the naked eye. These imperfections in the clear coat affect the clarity of the reflected light, and removing them is how you get even shinier!

The Liquid Paint Sealant provides plenty of gloss by itself, and I think it will be even shinier once I top it with the H20 Guard & Gloss.

Picked up some wheels for truck, 24" Dub Skillz with a 295/35R24. These wheels are going to be bear to keep clean. The textured matte finish seems to trap dirt inside. I'm going to get them clean as possible and throw some QS on them. Truck has fresh wash & coat of BG on it. BG makes the blue POP!! Next up is a lowering kit for the truck, going to keep it mild with a 3/5.

I only hope that the forum members here like LONG stories, with a lot of photos, to see what the results of using Adam's products, and proper equipment sold by them can lead too?

If you check out some of my prior posts, you will see that I wrote smaller detailing articles about a 2004 Magnetic Red II C5 Corvette Coupe and a 1996 Sebring Silver C4 Corvette Collector Edition Coupe.

This 2007 has replaced BOTH of them, as it was too difficult to decide which one I should sell, so I sold them both!

That happened due to the fact that the subdivision I live in also has an homeowners association, where we are not supposed to park vehicles outside of the garage, and having (2) Corvettes in my garage, meant the daily drivers had to be parked outdoors. I didn't have an issue with the majority of the neighbors, but there was one retired person who made a major issue out of it for whatever reason he thought may be important.

I fond this 2007 which had 2 previous owners, the last one a collector who stored it in UNCOVERED in an old industrial warehouse, and drove it a total of 700 miles in the past 5 years.

The car had 6520 miles on it when I went to look at it, and after driving it and sealing the deal, and driving it home, it now has 6700 miles. Spent the last month or so, in my garage, being made "whole" and into a show car. The reason I choose to show it is because my 96 Collector Edition was a Concours Show Car here in the Detroit, MI area, and award winning. Had to replace that, that was my thought and goal.

OK, on to the photos of the "as started condition" and I will say that I spend between 2 to 4 hours per panel, to correct, and finish polish over a 15 day or night time period, as I do have a "day job" and other responsibilities to attend too.

By looking at the pictures above, you can see this car was pretty scratched, swirled, and abused during whatever method they used to wipe it down. The hood and fenders were in similar condition, and to limit the length of this post, I didn't add those before shots here.

Now, here is the GOOD NEWS part, corrected using a Cyclo, Adam's Paint Correcting Polish, and the Adam's White Finishing Polish. Only the final photos show the results after Liquid Paint Sealant and Americana were applied.

Car will be going to it's first show this weekend in Canada, and then next weekend at a show where the Corvette club I belong is putting on. Those who saw it last night were amazed to say the least.

The interior and underhood engine area were also cleaned and detailed using Adam's products, and look just as good as the exterior.

Thank you to the Adam's team for their products and support!

We all have that friend that doesn't take care of their car. The ones that make us OCD perfectionists cringe and wince in pain.
I have one of these friends, and decided to give him a bottle of Liquid paint sealant this past christmas to use on his truck. Its a 2005 dodge ram with black paint, that at the time, was just beginning to show signs of clear coat failure since it has lived, and continues to live, its life out doors.

He washed his truck right after christmas, clayed it, and applied liquid paint sealant to the drivers side of the truck before deciding that this whole detailing thing was just too much work, leaving the rest of the truck unprotected.
Fast forward to today (june aka six months later) he shows up at my house. His truck hasn't been washed since december when he applied the liquid paint sealant, so I decide to take matters into my own hands and wash the dang thing so I can sleep at night...

THIS my friends, is the ultimate test of Adams Liquid paint sealant. The photos you are about to see are of six month old Adam's liquid paint sealant that was hastily applied, and after application, the vehicle was not washed for SIX MONTHS, and lived the entirety of those six months outdoors. The sealant has seen rain, mud, dust, lots of southern California sun, and a ton of miles since application, but the stuff still beads water. I was completely amazed.

This is the side with NO sealant. (note the water is in a sheet)

Saturday morning I used G&G for the first time with the new sprayer and the wet microfiber applicator method. It took so much less time, and I used about 1/2 the amount of product I was using with my old bottle, wet single soft application.

A quick wash and first use of the new H2O Guard and Gloss on my 2014 ZL1.  It's due for complete detailing, but I wanted to try out the new product.

The H2O Guard and Gloss is easy to work with and the shine is amazing.  I will definitely be using this product again.

x3, its very efficient.  I also work in the shade and just do the whole car this way then go into my tote and get a clean double or single soft and take off residues all at once.

I have been switching out some of the bottles to the new pump.  For a few products that don't get used very often like polishes and sealants, I placed 5/16" vinyl vacuum caps on the nozzle to keep them from drying out.  This would also work to keep the thinner products from dripping out of the pump.

    I bought this set.

The black 3/8" ones fit the gallon pumps.

Used it for the first time on my car which is coated.  It's even more amazing as the water really wanted to run off because of my coating and it spread so easily because of how smooth my coating makes the paint.  I also used it when it was cool and nearly dark out so I was able to spray down the whole car, wipe the whole car with a wet towel, and then go back to finish drying with just one more double soft.

I would try some APC.  Try it diluted first, but you may have to work up to full strength.  This method will require reapplying your wax or sealant again.

For love bugs, I like to soak thin MF towels in my wash solution and lay them over the bugs.  I leave it on for about 10 minutes (time to do the wheels), then remove and clean.  They usually will come off without much rubbing.
