Denali125
I have a 2015 GMC Denali that has plastic cap that covers the tailgate at one time must of got some wax on it now it has some dulling to it looks faded. What can I use to bring it back to looking black ? Thanks !!
0 savi01
I believe SVRT would be the best product in this case, it'll help protect the plastic and bring back a nice black finish (to hide the fading).
0 Beemer
You will probably need to scrub off the wax with APC before applying sVRT. Chris@Adams, b_pappy and mc2hill
0 Chris@Adams
I agree scrub it first with APC and a utility MF, then either use SVRT or In & Out Spray.
0 cev103
I'd hit it with APC like other suggested, but I also use a soft bristle tooth brush and scrub out the wax.
0 LFairbanks
I have the same cap. As others have mentioned, All Purpose Cleaner to remove the wax residue. May have to use an old tooth brush. Followed up by Super VRT, or In and Out Spray. One or the other, both aren't necessary. I use Super VRT, and mine still looks new 4 years later. 0 Gen9Rolla
You'd be amazed at the difference APC and SVRT can make!
0 Beemer
Also - don't apply a LOT of sVRT. It could run in the rain. A little goes a long way. Knock it down with a MF towel.

0 Black Bowtie
I use Super VRT on my Silverado.
